After cooling down a bit, I contacted NDR to express my concerns. I was contacted by a kind representative who said he was sorry and they have a 100% satisfaction policy. He took action to look into what happened and issued a refund for the data recovery service. I was pleased with the timely response and resolution to my concern and to see that NDR stood behind there policy.
