Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am VERY disappointed with this company and tried to cancel my accounts and But cant I signed up with you for two properties

Property # 1 & 2 signed up 02102009

Issue 1:

Approx 2 weeks after I signed up ( I was told that if I transferred from Axxx Hxxx s(((REDACTED))) to Nationwide my primary residence this one would waiver the 30 day wait time ) my water heater stopped working

1)you sent a repair guy out and he replaced the thermostat Paid $50

2)2 days later the water tank leaked water- I called you who told me to contact the repair person

3)He came back with a water heater but you denied the service

Unless I had a qualified plumber drain my water tank every year for the last 3 years

I called your sales person Tyler who put me onto a supervisor Her attitude itself was enough for me to cancel. She Yawned as I tried to explain my situation and had a couldn't care less attitude

She also informed me that I cannot cancel my contract for a year and that I had 3 days to cancel

I asked to speak to a manager and she told me there was no one higher and that I needed to email head office

Final outcome : I had to pay for another person to install a water heater Cost $745.00

Issue 2

Tuesday May 26th my AC handler was making a noise and vibrating I called your company willing to give you another chance

1)you send a repair guy Paid $50

2)he said the unit needed a motor and blower wheel

3)you denied the service

Unless I had a qualified AC company service paperwork every year for the last 3 years

Final outcome: I had to install the wheel and motor myself Cost $500 ( motor $250 and wheel $150 )

So: It seems that unless I have every appliance serviced and covered paperwork for the last 3 years you company will not agree for the service technician to carry out any work . But I still have to pay them $50 each time for you to deny the service AND I then have to get the work done from another company. So what is the point of having any policy with Nationwide? None as far as I can see.

Even the technicians you send out on both occasions have said it was ridiculous!

Reading other peoples reports it seems like this company does exactly that . takes your money but never allows you to claim . and this 3 day cancel thing cannot even be legal!

I have filed a complaint against them with the better business bureau

Stay as far away from this company as you can get!!! It;s a blatant rip off
