The Sales person Curly made several promises which he never even communicated to the manager in Texas. He promised the work would be complete in 3 days. It took three weeks. He promised to give me a "better deal" because I am a military member perparing for deployment to Afghanistan.

I asked them to check my vehicles transmission by doing a diagnostic test and tell me what the total price would be. The contract price was $1297. They raised the price to $2500.00 after the diagnostics were done by the shop. They told me the price changed because I had "extensive hard-part damage. They were unaware that I had already spoken with the shop manager at Trans-Master (the maintenance shop that agreed to do the work) and had been informed that I had only "minor hard-part damage and that the parts would not cost much. At that time I knew they were trying to overcharge me for the service.

When I was told they wanted $2500 for the service I explained that $2500 was not the agreed upon price and that I did not have that kind of cash and that I wanted to find a shop myself to get the work done. They then informed me that they had already charged me almost 1,000 dollars and that they had sent sales slips to me by email. I told them I did not authorize the charges and that I was not going to sign them. I explained that I wanted my money back.

I was then told that I needed to sign a cancellation document and pay a cancellation fee of $895. I told them that I would not sign that document. I called the customer service dept at Green-Dot to dispute the charges.

I did not give written, nor verbal authorization for them to charge my credit card. I put the card number on the contract because they said they needed to charge me $17.00 as an administrative processing fee. That is the only charge I authorized.

They have been devicive, decietful, rude and unprofessional to the point of name calling and saying that I was living in "La La Land" for thinking they would reverse the transactions.

I asked the shop to do the job for me and the shop Trans-Master in Buffalo NY agreed to to the job for $1400.

Nationwide transmissions/24 hr transmissions/coast to coast transmissions has tried to scam me. And they have not been authorized to charge my card. I was not told about several charges that they made. One transaction on 10/09/07 in the amount of $180.00 I was not made aware of until I spoke to my credit card representative who informed me of it. I requested that the charges be reversed and I want to be refunded the full amounts minus the administrative processing fee of $17.00

I have notified the credit card company and I am seeking chargebacks.

Please go to a shop yourself, save on the price, save yourself headache and pain in the pocket.

My son also called Larry Duncan about transmission repair and was quoted repairs would be around $600.00. After having car picked up and taken to the shop for a diagnosis he was to call him back with a total for repairs. My son called him and he told him that repairs would be $997.00 + hard parts, but needed a deposit of $897.00 cash deposited into his personal bank account. I spoke with Larry and asked him how much was the towing and diagnostic test, he stated that it would be $897.00. Told him if he had done the test what was wrong with it. He stated that the shop had results. Told him we did not want him to do the repairs and that I would pay him for towing and testing and asked him how was that, he stated $897.00 cash. Told him I did not operate by cash, and I was not going to deposit cash into his checking account. He stated to me he did not take credit cards, checks or cashier checks, and I was not going to be an exception to his rule.  He also stated people think that they are slick with credit cards,  and checks they stop payment on them. I told him no, you think that you are slick by wanting cash deposited in your account. Asked him to give me the location where my auto was located after he had insulted my intelligence several times, and I told him I did not appreciate it and hung up. The location where our auto was located is 1805 S.Great Southwest Pkwy,Grand Prairie, Texas, suppose to be Einstein Transmission Repair. This company does not even exist. After several days going to the place trying to talk with the people at the shop and they pretending not to know anything about what was going on. We took the police no results. After no results with that we went to the Grand Prairie court house to file a civil law suit, but after their help we found out that this company did not exist and they are suppose to be operating as Einstein Auto, only storing auto parts not repairing autos. We went to the Code Enforcement Office, they informed Larry Duncan that they were operating illegally. We were there the day they closed the warehouse down and got our car back without paying them a dime, but they did tear our transmission completely apart. If anyone is in the Dallas/Forth Worth area and you think your auto is in this shop you need to try and get your auto out of this warehouse. We thankfully did not get scammed, but he tried to. If you would like to contact us call (((REDACTED))) or email at (((REDACTED))), because we are trying to help other people get their autos back and close this  company down for good.CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.
