After getting what seemed a good deal I went about having the diamonds valued and appraised. I had made a earlier complaint and that was partially dealt with as I purchased a set of studs and a diamond ring. When I had the ring appraised they told me it was a .92 carat centre stone and not a 1.21 carat as was advertised by Naturediamond. The total weight was meant to be just under 2 carats but was far from it as well the diamonds were p1 not VS as originally stated not to mention a apparent value of about $20,000 ha ha actual valuation (for insurance purposes) was $7500.00 AUD that's $4875.00 USD . All was going well I thought with the seller to finally return the ring (after one of the stones fell out) they agreed to return $1876 ( I agreed to accept a small loss) but only sent $1430 . Now as you would correctly guess they are no longer returning my emails , yep that's right just another so called diamond dealer that sells crap and calls it lovely , beautiful , ra ra ra , I'm sure you've heard it all before. But don't take my word for it have a read through the emails which says it all as well as demonstrates that I have been more than patient in dealing with this con artist. I did receive the diamonds you sent yesterday and took them to the jeweller who gave me a valuation as well. The valuation certificate based on the diamonds measurements came up with a center diamond weight of .92ct not 1.21 as you had listed it not to mention giving it a i1 clarity. This has caused me now to loose the opportunity to sell the ring due to the huge discrepancy of the center stone weight thus effecting the value considerably. The valuation was $7500.00 AUD (retail value) which is far short of the value you put on the ring. As such I did not have the stones set in as intended . I originally hoped that the value would have been around $14,000 and if the size of the center diamond was correct that amount would have been close to the mark.
I do appreciate the trouble you have gone to fix up my earlier issues but I don't think this issue can be fixed other than returning the ring and diamonds you have sent me.
I was wondering if I could return the ring and perhaps cover my costs due to the favourable change in currency exchange rates which would also cover your shipping costs too. That way neither of us looses any money at all.
What I am suggesting is that upon the rings return you can forward the funds direct into my pay pal account (not through the normal refund process) deducting your shipping costs as well a portion of the refund you made to me earlier which was $600 USD for the diamond studs and ring together. The amount I am suggesting for your consideration is as follows : Total original amount of $2518.00 ( $2476 + $42 shipping) less part of the refund already given $450.00 less shipping costs say $50.00 Leaving a balance to refund of $2018.00 USD .
This I hope would leave us both in a comfortable position covering my shipping costs as well as valuation costs due to the exchange rate movement. For your information had the ring 's center diamond weight been correct the sale price of $3500.00 would have been secured so I am as disappointed as you in how this has ended but do thank you on the good service in dealing with this issue. I do realise mistakes are made from time to time and bear no grudges at all.
Could you please advise if you feel this is fair and reasonable or any other suggestions you may prefer so we can carry on as per normal with no financial injuries. If you like I can email you a copy of the valuation.
FYI the measurements of the center stone is 6.0mm diameter X 4.1mm deep with a table size of 3.8mm (my measurements) which calculates at around what the jeweler has noted in his valuation.

Yes thank you I will accept your offer but could you send one small diamond which I noticed was missing after emailing you from the band so I can get it replaced , it's the one that is on the front (or rear) face on the band . It's the second smallest ones that go up to the claws if you know what I mean. I can send you photos if you like to confirm this ? Or you can just increase the refund to cover this cost perhaps , My jeweller tells me it costs $25 labour and $50 for the stone. And also the certificate please would be greatly appreciated.

Hello , the ring and the studs have arrived (without certificates)but they are not as per your description , they both have visible inclusions by my naked eye which suggests they are a clarity of I1 not VS-Si1 and the color of the center ring stone is more an I-J than G-H .
