NCMerchant Tire #341 They fail my inspection small hole in plastic. They were to call back next day. to have new plastic, not so. Had to have it inspected at other place, pass inspection and paid another thirty dollars. T jamestown, North Carolina
On May 3rd 2010 I went to Merchant's Tire & Auto Center at 4845 W Wendover Ave Jamestown NC 27282 to have my car inspected and an oil change. My car didn't pass inspection, due to a small hole in the plastic over my rear tail light which was less then an inch wide. Inspector Mechanic Ian Emory Station Number 35811. After I was told that the plastic needed to be replace at the cost of $50 to 100. I would be called the following day when the covering will be coming in. I waited till May 14th with no response from Merchant's. I went to a different station and had my car inspected again for another $30. and pass inspection with no problem. I feel that they took advantage of me, it was okay to take my $30. The hole in the plastic been there for over five years, I never had any problems having my car inspected before. It was the first time I used Merchant's and will never use them again. I will make sure that my family and friends will knew about your Salesperson, and how I was treated.
