The 99 is just an internal code they use for credit reporting so they can identify the original creditor. The company in question is NCO Financial which is part of NCO Group, aka NCO Portfolio Management. As far as credit bureau disputes go, you have the right under the provisions of the FCRA to get copies of any validation provided. You are entitled to get all information used in the validation process. Stay off the phone, and DO NOT do online disputes. Do everything in writing, and send by certified mail, return reciept requested. Put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records. This is very important. Good luck!
