Received a letter last week from NCO Financial Systems, INC. stating that I owed EBAY with a balance of $51.72. They said that they wish to allow me an opportunity to satisfy this debt voluntary, and if refusal to honor this debt within 5 days of the date of this letter will result in continued collection activity.

I kept it silence and not to reply for the whole week. During that time,I contact EBAY through a Account Security live help...and request info related to that amount from NCO.

They found (NO Invoice/NO oustanding balance) in my accounts and only way to incur fees on EBAY is to sell. But neither accounts even has a seller's account set up.

Further more, I went through a WebSearch for "NCO Co.",then I came accross the RipOffReport sites.

I thought that I am the only one...but found many other similar reports about "NCO Fianacial Systems" abusive business practice"

Here it goes again this week...Another letter came thru my mail box and, they said that sometimes our clients will accept settlements on their outstanding balances. If you have a reasonable offer, Please contact me at the toll-free phone number as listed.

As of now i'll continue to keep silence, and still decide if I should file a complain to the FTC, Police Dept., or to the attoney general.

Anyone have any better way to deal with this, your help is greatly appreciated.

Just for an updated 'NCO Financial Systems Inc.' I traced back to the main source and requested them for a full investigation for a debt collection letter(s) I received from NCO. (and Somehow they messed up my user Acc. to another user acc.) That is unbelieverable...anyway the problem resolved. No longer I be liable for the balance accrued. and No more contact from NCO so far... At for now, I still continue to do a follow up... Richard San Jose, California
