We have been trying to contact Lincoln county child support division for several weeks and are told pay your support and we will send an email to the case worker. Well, we have been paying child support since 2012, and weekly to Texas attorny general child support division weekly since 2014.
We contacted the child support division in Lincoln to get our case transferred to Texas and they said call back in a week after the case workers reviews it, called back a week later and was told the same thing.
We have 32 pages of reports showing we have been paying child support faithfully and weekly since 2014. Texas says we own 24,000 in erras. Lincoln says we owe 62,000. Texas has been paying child support to the mom weekly and sending it directly to her by passing nebraska.
We just found out that she has been recieving the money since 2014. Nebraska says we own 40,000 more becasue they charge interest. The case was taken over by Texas and nebraska wont release the corrected balance. They have not sent us one letter since 2014 and have not called us in regards to clearing up the account.
The case worker wont respond to texas either. We dont understand why we owe nebraska 40,000 in interest when Texas has the case and the custodial parent has been recieving the support since 2014. Nebraska has it in collections on our credit report and texas does not.
Do you all see the problem here? The case worker is not responding to us, they have been talking to us like we are neglecting our past child support and they refuse to send the information over to Texas attorney general. I have filed a complaint with The lincoln county attorney generals office, the lincoln county child support division and now this report. Alls we want is for Nebraska to close out there case and correct the amount on the credit bureaus reports. And they are failing to do so.
They dont care about non custoidial parents and they dont care that weve been paying in the state we live in for more than 10 years. they dont care that the custodial mom has been recieving the support and they dont care to listen or address the fraudlent charges that they attached.
I am going to continue to report them to the attorney general, the state and anyone else who will listen.
