Neighborhood Home Furniture Zero Customer, Rude, Unprofessional & Smart a*s Houston, Texas
These people are the worse! Non-Compassionate and totally unprofessional. I was set to move into my new place on May 21, 2012. I began my furniture search and found myself at Neighborhood Home Furniture. I had previously ordered furniture from this place in the past (a different salesman) and had no issues. When I went into the store to make the purchase, it was on April 9, 2012. This was more than enough time in advance to have the furniture by my move in date. Long story short, I called the day before my move in date and was told my furniture would NOT be delivered on the 21st and had NEVER even been ordered! It was already paid for through a finance company, so I couldn't really go elsewhere. Then Roel, the salesman-and I use it loosely, said he would order it. He came back and said it would be about a week for everything. I was pissed. Throughout this whole entire process, I always had to contact them because they never communicated with me. The a couple days before the 2nd schedule delivery date, he says the bed is on back order and wouldn't be available for another week, then calls me an hour later and said the coffee tables were too. The bed and coffee tables didn't show up until JULY 2, 2012! Almost 3 months since my initial trip to the store! They weren't accommodating for my situation at all. And when the bed got here, I was told i needed a box spring, but I didn't and the bed ended up being about 4.5 feet off the ground. It was clear that the bed was NOT designed for a box spring, but my "salesman" sold me one anyway. I told him the issue and he said that they would not come to pick it up and that I would have to bring it back to the store. I have never in my life dealt with someone so unprofessional. I hope that everything bad passes through his life. I asked for the manager and he's never available. It's ridiculous. I will do everything to let anyone know how piss-poor these people are.
