Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I'm writing regarding the Net 10 wireless service. This company has slowly but surely deteriorated to the point that it's time to say goodbye to them and notify the world of the faulty business practices. One of my biggest complaints is their customer service is EXTREMELY faulty. I honestly am not sure if there IS a qualification to working as a customer service rep (or supervisor for that matter) including the ability to speak English. I also wonder if the people employed by them are even human as when I call them, I can ask questions or make a comment and if it's outside of the "parameters" I get a non response or a "computer generated one" similar to "does not compute" as they totally ignore your question and work as if reading from a script. My phone was damaged, just stopped working thankfully it was during the warranty period (it was my 4th replacement since being with them, as their phones are worthless).

I have owned two net 10 phones and know others with the same complaint. Both phones (bought new) have had to be replaced several times. They weren't dropped, washed, nor suffered no other type of misuse or abuse and they are just faulty. This last replacement was a total nightmare. I called to activate the SIM card that they sent, for it to be faulty also. They replaced it with another just a faulty SIM card.

On that call, customer service discovered that there was a mistake with the SIM card as it was not compatible with the network in my area and had to send me a third one. Finally sent me another SIM card, which now works. Speaking to this operator was a nightmare. For over an hour, I was trying to work with this rep for him to give me back the minutes that I already had in addition to the promised compensation minutes. He only wanted to tell me to activate my voice mail and wanted me to buy another airtime card when I already had almost 500 minutes on the phone. He stated he could only give me 10 minutes. He insisted on reading from his "script" to tell me how to set up the voicemail (after telling him at least 20 times I didn't need that, as I've been a customer for over 2 years).

After my 5th request for a supervisor, I was finally sent to a "supervisor" who I believe was just another customer service rep as she did the same thing. I had to threaten to put them on this website and report them to the BBB and sue in small claims court that I got my minutes put back on the phone. Then they sent me a text message that was CHARGED TO MY ACCOUNT! Feeling that they were justified.

When trying to remedy this situation, the same response is that the computer won't let us credit that back to you. So now I'm trying to understand why are we starting to be charged for text originating from NET 10?! In the beginning they were ok, but now that ten cents isn't worth the aggravation as they are making us pay in other ways (customer services reps who either don't think you have enough value to listen to you or with such poor English skills that they just DON'T understand you.) Nickel and dime charges for every little thing (now we're paying for the free minutes), cheap and faulty equipment (overpayment for the phones for them to NEVER outlast the warranty), error in charges (charged my card for a delivery I never received. For that I had to get reimbursement from my bank as they weren't going to give me anything AND keep the equipment, go figure). Whatever you do DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH NET 10 WIRELESS. Thank you for reading.
