On 10/12/2013 I registered a domain name with Network Solutions. I noticed in December I was charged $37.90 on my bankcard. I contacted the business, and requested a refund because I had no idea what the charge was for. I was told it was for web hosting. I let them know I did not sign up for web hosting, that I only requsted a domain name registration (12/26/2013). At that time I was told a refund would be processed and given a reference # 10720913503. I was checking my bank account to see if the money had been refunded to my account and noticed there were two more charges in the amount of $18.95 each. I was told the $18.95 was for e-mail accounts. And given I called and was informed my account could not be authenticated (the reason I did not receive the refund), and that I had to sign in... Network Solutions sent me an e-mail to change my password and I signed in (while we were on the phone)... even after given them the answers to the security questions a minimum of 5 times. We then discussed the new charges. I was given a new reference number, again stating that would be reimbursed. Today, January 9, I received an e-mail from Network Solutions stating I have been refunded $18.95 x 2. I called and inquired about the $37.90, and was told (today for the first time) I would not be refunded, because they do not refund on Hosting Packages. I did NOT sign up for a hosting package. I signed up for the domain name registration. While speaking with an individual on the phone (Rich, I believe is his name)... he told me I was charged in November. I then signed into my online bank account and noticed I was charged $37.90 on November 25, 2013 for a hosting package. Again, I never signed up for a hosting package. And Network Solutions refuses to reimburse me. I was told by someone in hosting, they do not refund hosting packages.
