My mother, who has Alzheimer's, ordered the product's "free trial", not realizing that she was locking herself into an automatic shipment. I noticed one day that her face looked splotchy and red, and asked her what she had been using on her face, and she showed me the products. I told her she shouldn't buy that anymore, but I then noticed she had two larger bottles of the product unopened in a box. I called the company to find out what it was about, and they told me she was in an automatic shipment program. They informed me that she could cancel, but they wouldn't accept returns or issue refunds. This product cost her over 20% of her total monthly income!! And she hasn't even touched it!! Someone who has dementia shouldn't legally be bound to a contract, and the cost is more than she can afford. They were very rude and they wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. I asked for a supervisor, who also said that she was stuck paying nearly $200 for something she can't use, and didn't understand that she was ordering.
