Janet Berkley and Emily Melin the owners of The New England Neuroregenerative Center hired my marketing company for services starting October 2018. We have messages from Janet Berkley saying "You guys do a good Job" on the date of January 11th, 2019. We created multiple graphic design images, as well as performed technical SEO Marketing for their website. In addition we also wrote two press releases which we distributed on a News Wire site as well as emailing directly to over 10 local news agencies in the course of 3 weeks after press release was created. We succesfully allocated an interview for their company as well as reached out and negotiated with radio advertising agenices on their behalf.

After delivering a set of work which included 3 SEO-Optimized written page maps, an interview with a local news agency, and 5 graphic designed flyers. Emily Melin and Janet Berkley stopped answering our messages entirely.

We then get a message from Janet Berkley who has never reached out to us with any concerns, complaints, or refund requests.. That she was upset with a website design project we finished back in October. And that she wanted a partial refund from that project she also stated to us that she was disputed all credit card charges made with us during the last 60 Days.

After calmly reaching back out to remedy the situation they ignored all further communication. The concerns she had about the website were clearly false and misguided as her son thinks hes a computer genius and is telling her that the website we built her is worth $200. When in fact we worked with a professional coder for custom coding, a professional writer to write several pages on a scientific topic that required a copeous amount of research, and a graphic designer to develop custom designs and icons for the website. The whole project took approximately 4-5 weeks to complete. 

In addition as seen in her message she states she asked us numerous times why the "website wasnt done" The website was completed in Early November. This client even sent us a $200 amazon gift card for christmas because she loved our work. Her statement that the site is not functional or that the pages are messed up is completely wrong. Her statement about godaddy telling her theres wrong "cities" on the pages is also completely wrong and doesnt make sense. Take a look at their current website and see for yourself how the website is mobile optimized and very cleanly operating. She never addressed with us any concerns. She never asked us on numerous occasions why it wasnt done and thats because it was done. She did ask us when we planned to release a PRP service page which we always responded and kept her up to date on. We even mentioned that in some of our last texts which she responded "Sounds Great!".

If our Web Design project started in October ended in November.. And apparently the website was never done and had so many issues.. Does it make sense that after that she hired us for 5 seperate graphic design projects and 2 months of SEO/Publicity Marketing That was cntracted up until February 7th. In addition sendings us a $200 amazon gift card for christmas as a sign of appreciation.Even telling us around January 11th over text that "You do a great Job".

The last messages she responded to before she stated she was going to dispute 60 days worth of work and charges was us telling her on a sunday how we plan to deliver 3 written pages on wednesday (Which we did) and how we are working to set up an interview (Which We did) and how we would keep her posted on our work that week regarding a Service Page she wanted on the website. After delivering the first 2/3 promises for the week she Disputed a $2,500 Marketing Service charge for the previous month.

A few weeks later she disputed a $575 charge for a poster we designed back on December 18th. As per our agreement we send the finished design samples before invoicing. The customer never reached out with any concerns but still disputed the charge. We actually created another poster and 5 flyers during the month of January which they applauded and loved over text with no negative reference, refund requests, or complaints to any of our previous work.

Its clear that Janet Berkley and Emily Melin like to scam contractors and freelance companies. They never show any concern, complaints, or requests for refuns or partial refunds. Instead they make up fictitious unstantiated complaints from irrelevant projects dating back 3 months and then they dispute charges with their credit card company. Not even giving a contractor a chance to figure out what the issue is and to remedy the situation.

I belive this is bad business practice and the behaviour is clearly fruadulent.

Whats even more sketchy is its clear they may have needed the money as one of the last poster designs they ordered they actually offered to barter for a procedure that required blood drawing and needle incisions.

Definitely dont do business with Emily Melin or Janet Berkley as their whole practice is incredibly sketchy and they like to order work, wait until its delivered, ignore all your text messages, and then reverse charges for work already rendered.
