New Faces Development Model Talent Search Agency personal claimed my child would be booked for several modeling gigs, made false promises -I quote "based on the demand on the market for a child with "her features" long Island New York
I was first approached by New Faces Development in the Queens Center Mall. Two young ladies asked me If I ever thought about putting my daughter in modeling because she's got these gorgeous blue eyes. I explained that I thought she was too young. One of the young ladies went on about how she was discovered at an early age. I have to admit that I wondered why would you be recruiting if your a model- but then again this is the mall nothing is impossible.
She asked me if I would be willing to go to do a quick photo shoot for my daughter there would be no obligation to sign or pay anything. I agreed nievely. I gave her my information. Three weeks later I got a phone call to schedule her for photo session. My husband and I went it was in Hicksville - it was made, there had to have been at least 200 people that day. One of the other parents I encountered said this is her 3rd time- hope this is the one she said.
we met with the director- Tommy who showed us a picture of his daughter who is in modeling in Florida and a binder full of letters from clients whom he linked to modeling gigs. We were impressed enough to agree. He kept on saying "she's a cutie, you seem like committed parents- you made it all the way out here." My husband was a little pesimistic but I said lets do it- I realized after we signed the contract it was a scam--- He was there to tell people a lie and sell them a story. Nothing was ever going to come out of. The damage $2500.
