I was on some game site that offered free games to dowload for $1. So I thought ok if I get ripped for a buck who cares. Bad mistake people! Next thing I know my wife tells me they took $48.00 out the account. So of course I call them and first I get some SGADA saying they are a 3rd party billing company and have nothing to do with it and gave me New Healthy Savings phone number. I called NHS and got no where fast 3 times. They gave me a email address to speak with a manager. Then I found this web site and went to BBB(better business bureau)which ended up showing me two very bad reports on this company. The bbb gave me all NHS's info. I spoke with the BBB of South East Florida and got some info as to what I can do from them. I also searched the web for other business regulators in Florida and the attorney general there. I found some good stuff. So I decided to try once more to get my money back before I complained to everyone in florida. Here's my first email to NHS:

My name is Eric and I was on a game web site of yours and was told I would be charged one dollar and now I have been charged 48.00. Now I can't even find the original website and I have not been able to speak with any one of authority at your company on this issue. I have Looked at your record on BBB and Other sites on the internet and everyone is saying you are ripping people off with the same story that I have. All I want is my money back. I don't want any trouble.

Thanks,

Eric

and here is #2:

Thank you for responding. I would like all transactions to stop immediately. I would also like a full refund. I have not used any of your services and was never under the impression that I would be charged anything other that a one time fee of $1. I never read anything on that website that stated I would be charged $48.00 at anytime, or I would have never gave my credit card information. I did speak with 3 of your reps at this number (646-495-8107), and was told I could not speak with a manager or superior of any kind, and was only give an email address. The last rep I spoke with told me she would request that I be refunded in full to her supervisor but made no promise to me that I would be funded. She said she would do her best to see that I am refunded. She was very nice and patient with me. I did not ask for any additional services and do not want them or to be charged for them. PLEASE JUST CANCEL THIS SERVICE, REFUND THE MONEY THAT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT, AND DO NOT TAKE ANYMORE MONEY FROM ME FOR ANYTHING. I DO NOT WISH TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I don't know your company policies, but I do ask that you make the right and ethical decision and refund my money.

Thanks Again,

Eric

Both these emails were sent on 12/14/2004. I got a email after the first one I wrote to them saying I would not get my money back. Then I wrote the other and decided I would give them a few days to put the money back and if they didn't I would start my complaint process. Well my wife looked in the account today and there it was. I never even had to tell them what I was going to do if they didn't give my money back. I don't know what moved them to do it but they did.
