newmp3technology.com Sold me counterfeit HP adapter through eBay Troy, North Carolina, Internet
Got an AC adapter sold as "GENUINE HP", complete with HP branded label and everything.
The cord length was unusually short and the label started peeling off.
This retailer is listed as an authorized dealer of Archos products, and there's been other complaints online about Archos products others have bought being possibly fake.
My AC adapter was sent to HP and it has identified my sample as complete counterfeit.
The company has since stopped selling HP, IBM and other Genuine computer accessories, but it is still in operation. Who knows if their Archos stuff is actually genuine based on their past.
