Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am the owner of a multi-level corporate business and based on a recommendation from a Nexogy Channel Partner representative I decided to trust my business to the voip and pbx services of Nexogy.  This was the WORST BUSINESS MISTAKE I have ever made in my life.

I have branches of my business in Miami Florida, Tampa Florida, and Dallas Texas. All of these branches rely heavily on communicating with my customers and employees through our telephony systems. First they tried to get me to use old, used cheap equipment that they refurbished. That should have been my first sign.  For the initial install of Nexogys systems it took weeks to get a guy out there.  That should have been my second sign.

Once they finally got everything installed and then up and running it took literally 1 week for their system to break down.  When I signed up with Nexogy initially the channel partner that sold me this crap told me NOT to contact the customer service, but to contact him directly.  I thought Thats odd, but thats what I did.  I left him FIVE messages and he never got back to me.  So finally I just ended up calling the customer support line and what a nightmare.  I could never get a good connection, was put on hold for over 1 hour and finally when I did get a hold of someone they didnt know a word of English. I asked where their customer service offices were located and the guy told me Lima, Peru.  Are you kidding me?  I finally asked if they could please just send someone out to fix it and they said they would send someone out right away.  Three weeks later and still nobody ever showed up.  When someone finally did show up, after over 10 complaining phone calls, they CHARGED ME EXTRA for the service call. And a week later their entire system broke down AGAIN!

I lost thousands of dollars in missed calls and communications. The equipment is useless and they held my account and information hostage until I paid their bogus charges. They never responded to my pleas for help and they went after my credit when I disputed the bogus charges.

I have never written a complaint about any company ever before, but after the garbage that this company has put me through I feel that it is my civic duty to try to warn potential business owners about Nexogy and who they really are.  If you dont mind losing business, losing money and losing your employees respect Nexogy is the way to go.

The company you are referrng to, SOLOLLAMA, has nothing to do with nexogy. This review is misguiding and should be eliminated.

Please refer to SOLOLLAMA for any complaints.

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, March 23, 2012

I am an ex-employee for nexogy. What this person has claimed is entirely false.

All the equipment including the phones are new or reconditioned with warranty. One would never be able to tell the difference. We were always instructed to inform the client what they were recieving. If this was not the case, why would the "client" have accepted the order in the first place?

The system does not "break" as was eluded to. There is nothing to break. While the customer service is outside the US, there is no 1 hour wait time as mentioned.

No company is perfect and that includes AT&T, XO, Time Warner Telecom, Verizon or any other service provider, all companies still strive to provide reasonable customer service. As a former employee, I know that nexogy management will do all they can to resolve client issues as soon as possible. All of their engineers are are quite knowledgeable and can remedy any technical issues that might arise.

Two of the posts in the comments section also have similar verbage. That should be the first clue that these stories are false. In addition, follow up was made by nexogy but a reply was never made.

I will also inform the readers that the three locations mentioned were locations that nexogy has offices is. Coincidence??

The "customer" also states he lost thousands of dollars in revenue. If that was the case, I believe that a lawsuit would have come forth. Based on all of this "thorough documention". I believe that the "customer" would have been awarded some type of compensation.

As far as "civic duty", if that includes lying as you have, then you have done your job.

To Whom it May Concern:

That was a very heart-warming and touching story that you told. I am sorry that you are amongst the rest of the millions of Americans who are struggling with these hard times. I had almost believed for a second that you had a legitimate complaint until you decided it was time to slander an innocent employee at this company. Kimber McCafferty is an honest, caring, and an excellent professional in her position. You have portrayed her as a deviant. I begin to wonder why? Most likely because you are just a classless, and disgruntled ex-employee who felt it was necessary to destroy innocent people's lives because of your own bitterness..  You have pictures? Prove it. You're an ex-employee? Prove that as well. Until then, I can only hope that a lawyer finds you and you receive the just you deserve for writing such lying, despicable things about someone.
