Nextcard reported late payments to the credit agencies even though we did not recieve a bill and when they notified us we were late, we paid immediately. We have called Nextcard several times to dispute and they have not changed it. We have written dispute letters to all the credit agencies and have yet to see any changes.

This company has ruined our credit rating and it is impossible to get them to correct it. We had made an offer on a new house and now can't get a loan because of Nextcard.

We have never been late on any bills in our lives and this is so frustrating.

I think if there is a lawyer reading this, they should start a class-action lawsuit. It seems the only thing the card companies and credit reporting companies will respond to is the bottom line.

Politicians work for them, not us. They must have a powerful lobby in Washington, because they are raking in money at the consumers expense.

Joyce, The reality is, if you miss your payment they will report you late. If you are only making minimum payments...there's always another one due the next month whether you got your statement or not until the balance is zero. Do you access your account with them on-line? I understand that is an option, along with making or advance scheduling a payment on-line. If you have access to on-line banking, take advantage of the auto payment feature. I won't change what happened in the past. But it will prevent it from happening again. Good Luck
