This company has alot to learn on how to treat its customers. It started on 02/03/2006 Me and my husband went to the Nextel store located on Dunn ave in Jacksonville Florida we waited for atleast 25 minutes before we were even assisted. Finally the sales rep came over and asked us want we needed. We informed him that we would like to purchase two boost mobile phones and get the premium plan which is like a pre paid plan but for like $49.99 a month and the funds come directly from your checking account. He seemed aware of what we wanted, we picked out the phones, he told us the total we paid for the phones and then he handed us the phones in a bag and said have a nice day. We were then curious and asked how do we activate them? He said oh just open the package and it explains it all. We left the store, went home to activate them call the number inside the package and told them the exact same thing we want both phones on a premium plan. The rep activated the phones and then transferred us over to the "premium plan department" where we were then informed that we could not have two phones on a premium plan using a the same credit card even if the phones and credit card is in the same name. The rep even went as far as saying she didnt care if the phones were in "Mickey Mouse's name!! WOW!! GREAT SERVICE HUH? We then tried to take the phones back on 02/04/2006 they informed us we could not because we already activated them so now we are stuck with so crummy phones without the service we wanted in the first place and this company does not care. We even spoke with a supervisor who told me he didnt even have a complaint line phone number to give to me. Needless to say this was the worst service I have ever had and I wouldnt refer anyone to boost mobile. We only got it because all of our friends have it now our friends dont even want the service anymore. Should have tried T-mobile......

The terms and conditions posted in boostmobile.com clearly indicate why you cannot have a credit card associated in 2 accounts. The reason for this is that when your account balance goes below 5.00 dollars an autocharge for 15 dollars kicks in, And since we can only charge a credit card 4 times in a 28 hour period both plans would be quickly canceled.

Dealers are NOT employed by Boost

People blame boostmobile for the way that dealers treat them all of the time. Dealers are not employed by boostmobile. Anyone can go out and purchase ANY cellphone and resell it, right? Just because I purchase something from your company and resell it doesn't mean you are paying me to do so, does it? Boostmobile doesn't employ dealers. Enough said about that. Also, you're not able to have the same credit card set up on two different accounts for one very simple reason. When on the $49.99 premium plan, first of all, you are charged $49.99 per month. Every time your balance drops below $5 on your prepaid account, you incur a charge of $15 to keep your balance from going down to zero. That can happen up to seven times in 28 days. There is a certain limit, over which boostmobile is unable to go, with your credit card every month. They can only charge $200 per month on your credit card, or the $49.99 and seven low balance reboosts, depending on if you're on the premium plan or on pay as you go. So, let's say you and your husband were both on the $49.99 premium plan and using the same credit card. There goes $100 of the limit. Then you'll have room for about 7 low balance reboosts and basically they'd be first come, first serve. That means that one of you could potentially be without a phone for a while during the month, because if you hit a zero dollar balance that will expire your account every time. With the $49.99 premium plan, you can't use reboost cards. So you'd be out of luck. Last, I can't imagine what could have happened over a span of five days that would've made "all of your friends" decide they no longer wanted to use boostmobile, when only five short days before, you were persuaded to buy the phones because of them.

You can not blame the company or the customer service representatives for the way an individual store treats you or the service you get there. Also, EVERY phone comes with an activation guide in the box that gives you step by step instructions on what to do before you call, where all the numbers you'll need can be found, and what information you'll need to have ready. Unfortunately, most people don't read it.
