HORIZON BLADEWORKS: In the INTEREST OF FAIRNESS, please read our rebuttal to this defamatory over reaction to a simple oversight. It takes a special kind of bottom dweller to insult a woman the way he did. Especially a woman he admittedly NEVER had any direct contact with.
Ken Billehus is showing his ignorance and lack of both class and tact several places in his self servingly fictionalized and embellished attack on Horizon Bladeworks and Joyce. Not the least of which is his inaccurate statement that we used "bait and switch" tactics. Ken Billehus may not have been pleased with the product he recieved but it was EXACTLY what he ordered. That does not comprise bait and switch or any form of fraud. Everything else he says is equally as lacking in accuracy and intelligence.
We at Horizon Bladeworks have offered Ken Billehus ([email protected]) to return the item in question. Even after he has mercilessly twisted the truth and knit picked the item as well as our actions to fuel his own vindictive proclivities but, to date, Ken Billehus has not responded with anything less than childish, irrational, maliciously worded jabs as his reply. Some people just want to complain and damage others to exhibit their power. Ken Billehus seems to me to be one of those, thankfully rare, people.
I will make no further comments here regarding this matter or argue with Ken Billehus here. We intend to have our day in court with Mr. Billehus. Horizon Bladeworks is a respected and trusted retailer of knives on the internet. Anybody that has any doubt and values truth and fair play should inquire of the dozens of knife related forums on the internet. (Google: Knife Forum ) These forums offer diverse opinions from people very familiar with knife retailers and offer multitudes of honest and unbiased opinions from people without a personal axe to grind.
Ken Billehus of Buckeye Arizona is one of those rare people all retailers are forced to suffer with from time to time. Retailers should be warned about dealing with customers like Ken Billehus so they have an option to decide beforehand whether or not transacting business with Ken Billehus is worth the gamble. Thankfully people as obviously troubled as Ken Billehus are few and far between. Way outside what most of us would consider normal as witness by a careful read of Ken Billehus conjured, malicious, false, twisted and publically defaming statement above.
Here are the facts surrounding the liablist accusations, malicious and false statements publicly posted by Ken Billehus. We at Horizon Bladeworks believe these statements to be legally actionable on several counts and intend to take Ken Billehus to task in a court of law for the false malicious and defamatory comments a he has falsified, embellished and publicly posted as fact.
Ken Billehus received exactly what he ordered. This does not constitute "bait and switch" as Ken Billehus has falsely stated. Ken Billehus received the exact item he ordered but was not happy with it. Objective dissatisfaction with an item is not considered "bait and switch" and is not "illegal" as Ken Billehus has stated as fact.
Ken Billehus attempted to contact us exactly twice. For some unexplained reason these emails never reached us which is why Ken Billehus received no reply. Not an uncommon occurrence on the internet but in Ken Billehus mind, unforgivable to the point that embellished public damage was required. Ken Billehus never attempted to contact us in any other way but instead decided to maliciously defame our business as well as make several derogatory personal comments about Joyce, my wife. He admittedly never even heard anything from Joyce yet he abuses, degrades, insults and humiliates her publicly. How a person deduces that a person is "dumb", "stupid", "thick thighed", "wears "plastic jewelry", etc, without ever having any contact with that person is nothing less than malicious, vindictive and just plain mean. Basically Ken Billehus wanted to throw a juvenile temper tantrum and decided he would embellish the truth (lie) to make his false, contrived and undependable retaliation more damaging.
Ken Billehus obviously knows how to get in touch with the Attorney General both via email and telephone but Ken never even attempted to contact Horizon Bladeworks in any way beyond two emails. To me this seems woefully inconsiderate and a total over reaction to the situation. No contact beyond this was ever attempted before Ken Billehus posted his fictitious, malicious, vindictive and liablist retaliation on the internet.
Ken Billehus, IMHO, is an example of the type of customer any retail establishment would be wise to avoid. Ken Billehus complete lack of consideration regarding anothers livelihood coupled with the personal malice exhibited toward another person over such a trivial, common and understandable oversight is, IMHO, unconscionable, rude, mean, childish and should not be tolerated.
