Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I resigned working for Nimbus communications after working one day, after realizing it is capturing customers credit information charging 9 plus dollars to ship free viapren strips, then another 5 dollars if they want it shipped fast. Then after getting their credit card you tell the customer in 10 days they will get another shipping costing around 50 dollars, then every 30 days after that. Then they continue for only 1.95 you will get travel and leisure, and some type of coupon book. I believe these people are part of pharmazone labs, their customer service number is the one for pharmazone labs. Well after deciding not to take customers hard earned money to give them hope for a better sexual life, I sent back my equipment, at first fedex couldn't deliver it, said buisness closed, then I wrote to the Hr dept.. and the next day it was delivered to that address, which happens to be a residence. I was honest about returning their equipment, even though they take 50.00 out of your pay for 6 weeks and another 50 for 2 weeks to pay for it. well needless to say they refuse to pay me for my time and their un-organized training. They say the check is in the mail. If they do this to an ex-employee what do they do to customers. I have written to the BBB about this because I worked for pay, and expect it. So anyone that is thinking about ordering or trying this, please read the reports.

""$500 phone? ''In regards to your statement about have $50 taken out of your check for the first 6 weeks for the phone and 2 additional weeks for the headset... of course that would happen! They are sending you a phone valued at over $500 and you expect them to give it to you for free? '' 2 things. 1. What is the make and model of this $500 phone and headset? 2. The OP states that the phone/headset were RETURNED!!!! Submitted: 8/15/2008 4:22:30 AM Modified: 8/15/2008 2:04:17 PM Anonymous Portland, Maine U.S.A. ""Returned... So What?"" IT WAS RETURTNED, so the OP is complaining that the cost of this alleged $500 phone was not refunded. ""In response to the person who said how can it be a $500 phone? This is a virtual call center with VoIP phones."" There are many VOIP phones on the market for UNDER $100. Gotta wonder how much this outfit is OVERCHARGING for this phone. I asked for the make and model of the phone. Why don't you tell us what phone is provided, eh? ""etc it states in there you understand that you must return the phone in the same condition with only reasonable wear and tear to receive you money back. "" Short of being dropped and broken, there would hardly be any wear and tear on the phone. ""Also it states that you will NOT be refunded the $100 for the headset as it is your to keep even after termination."" $100 headset? Wow. Please tell us the make and model of this super headset. I suspect this is being overcharged as well. ""If this now ex-employee did in fact return the phone... where is your tracking number?"" It's not MY tracking number dolt. I simply asked for the make and model numbers of this alleged $500 phone. While you're at it, the make and model numbers of the headset would be appreciated as well. If your rebuttal is any indication of the "caliber" of employees this outfit embraces, I won't be doing business with you.

In response to the person who said how can it be a $500 phone? This is a virtual call center with VoIP phones. When you sign the paperwork that comes with your "welcome packet" with the tax information, contact information, etc it states in there you understand that you must return the phone in the same condition with only reasonable wear and tear to receive you money back. Also it states that you will NOT be refunded the $100 for the headset as it is your to keep even after termination. If this now ex-employee did in fact return the phone... where is your tracking number?

Diane, it sounds to me like you didn't put in the time to learn your job well, since one day is hardly enough time to determine whether or not this is the job for you. I had great training from Nimbus, from several different people, and the management is always attentive. The companies that hire Nimbus as their THIRD PARTY CALL CENTER determine what their offers are, Nimbus does not make those determinations. We (as a company) do not write their scripts, make their offers, or determine their conditions. We simply do what we're told to do as a call center. We answer their incoming calls, take their orders, let the customer know when shipping and handling or other charges apply, offer everything applicable to that particular order and we make sure that the customer is satisfied and all questions are answered before we get off the phone with them. That is the job of any good call center. The average consumer understands that when they call in for a free trial on a product, there is usually shipping and handling attached to it. So you are not maliciously taking "customers hard earned money to give them hope for a better sexual life". The product you are referring to has alot of very happy customers attached to it. Nimbus also takes calls for other companies. If you had stuck around for longer than one day you would have realized that. :o) As to you being charged for a very high tech telephone and headset, you were told when you started that the headset becomes your property, and you signed papers accordingly. The telephone payment is a deposit so that Nimbus can insure that if they send you an expensive telephone, it will come back in the same condition you received it in. Common sense, no? I have been paid on time, and to the penny every week since I've been here, and the management staff are always attentive and answer any and all questions I have while I work. We are NOT dishonest with people when we speak to them. We tell them ALL conditions before we send them anything. They call us, remember? We do not solicit them. Good luck in the next job you find, and I certainly hope it's not at a call center, because this is obviously not a job you can handle. It's funny how we have so many employees, but you're the only person who claims to have been treated like this........

Where do you get off saying this?

Hi, I am a current employee for the past 5 months for Nimbus Communications. I worked with the owner of the company for more than a year prior to working here as well. Nimbus Communications is an EXCELLENT place to work! I make an average of $22 an hour including hourly, commission and bonuses. In regards to your statement about have $50 taken out of your check for the first 6 weeks for the phone and 2 additional weeks for the headset... of course that would happen! They are sending you a phone valued at over $500 and you expect them to give it to you for free? As far as the products that are concerned... that is NOT relevant as to the practices of Nimbus. We are a third party that takes the calls for several companies. If it was not for the companies WE WOULD NOT HAVE JOBS!!! Training is provided. The trainer puts A LOT of time and effort into her training to ensure everyone understands the sales process. Training is done online... how else would it be done? Do you expect them to fly you to Maine to train you? This is a virtual call center... hence the word virtual! I can't believe you would do this to a company that gives you the opportunity to make sooooo much money! Get your facts straight before slandering such a great company!! You don't work here anymore... that's fine... MORE CALLS AND MONEY FOR ME! -An Employee of an Excellent Company-
