Nissan of Durango Sent 5K winner notice that was totally fake to get people to drive 6 hours to a car sale in Durango Colorado
I got a mailer offering to play the $25k cash game. The mailer doesnt look like its folded over. I pulled the tags, looked like I won 5K and called the number.
They refused to tell me anything, said I had to go to the dealership. I AM IN WALSENBURG!! I am a 6.5 -7 hour drive away! I asked if they could tell me if this was a "chance at 5K" or if I go there, is it a true win.
THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME. I get passed to another gal, she says "Read the fine print!" There is none. Then I realise the flyer is STUCK TOGETHER! I open it, and parts of the top stick to the bottom. They CLEARLY DO NOT want the consumer to figure out that its a flyer thats pasted together.
They WANT the consumer to drive 6 hours and get pissed off to find out they didnt win a thing.
TOTAL JERKS!! They want people to drive SIX TO SEVEN HOURS only to tell them... "gee... didnt you figure out that you had to open the PASTED flyer to find out that we are a FAKE?"
