I bought a new house and ordered blinds from no brainer blinds for the entire house. Since the beginning, the order has been riddled with problems. The order was on backorder and nobody contacted me. The first to arrive was the vertical blind for the sliding glass window. I installed the vertical blind as per the instructions and discovered the blinds were made way too small.

When I ordered the blind, I told linda, the salesperson I was giving her exact measurements as i did not know how much to add for allowance to completely cover the window. She said no problem and that the factory would add the required amount.

I called Linda to report the problem and received horrible service. She said she never told me that the measurements would be adjusted, blamed me for the problem, and spoke over me not allowing me to talk. It wasn't until I threatened to reverse charges on my credit card that she agreed to replace the blind. I also informed her that due to the error, I now have 9 holes in the wall of my brand new house that will be visible once the new blinds do get installed, for which she showed very little concern.

More of the shipment later arrived, some damaged that has since been replaced. The replacement vertical blind arrived over a month ago. It is now the correct size, but after installing it, I found the head rail sticks when opening and closing the blind and one of the slates had black marks that won't clean off. I called Linda and was forwarded to her service people who agreed to rush out a replacement.

It has been almost 2 months and I still do not have the replacement blind. Unfortunately, when placing a order, they answer the phone right away and are very friendly, but when you call the service department, it takes forever and the people are not very nice

It has been almost two months since my last contact. The company has asked me to store all the boxes in my garage in case UPS wants t inspect them, even though I told them the boxes are fine. I just want my blind. I feel some form of compensation for all the hassle, holes in my wall, and using my garage for storage is the least they can do. Complaints have also been filed with the BB and attorney general, but I still have not heard from the company.

I am the manager of Affordable Blind Services L.L.C. I am writting in response to this article because of where it shows up when you Google my web site www.akablinds.com. This add shows up just below it and with a quick read appears to name my web site as a ripoff. Which our ccompany is not. We have been in business in the Phoenix area for over 11 years and have recently started a web site. I would appreciate it if there is any way to change the title and remove the AKA from it. Alls I can do is ask so thank you and may the rest of all our shopping experiences be ripp off free. Jason
