Pro Audio was having a "Tint Tuesday" sale where they discount 50% off the orignal pricing of tint. I left a down-payment of $20.00 and left the car with them to do the tinting job (10AM). When I went back to pick up the car around 6pm, they asked for the reciept and the money as soon as possible. They did a bad job putting the tint on my windows. There were a lot of clear spots where  tint was missing . On one side of the missing tint they tried to hide it by drawing over it with a sharpie pen. This is already a sign that they were trying to rip me off. After letting one of the workers know, he gave me ahrd time by saying I have to wait days for him to fix it. I kept complaining and he decided to fix it leading to only making the tinting job even worse.

After letting him know that it came out worse and that I wanted it either fixed or my full refund back, he became aggresive and threatened (along with 1 of his co workers) to hurt me and that he will remove the tint off my windows and keep my money. He said "We have these "Tint Tuesday" sales for people like you who can't afford to pay full price, so we do a shitty job." He walked away, opened my back door of the Nissan Sentra, and used an excessive ammount of force to shut the door and he broke it. He opened the hood door and then slammed it very hard as well, then turned the vehicle on, drove it to the middle of the side walk, and left it there.

I then called the police and put them on speaker, the police asked the worker to give me the reciept and the coworker refused. They closed the shop and I was left there with a job that wasn't correctly done and a broken door.

Car is a 1997 Nissan Sentra.

False Report Filed

#2UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Tue, January 28, 2014

After reviewing the security video/audio the claim made is false. We have the proof!

LAPD dispatched a unit and could not find any damage as claimed. The customer was presented the receipt at time of completion, signed a vehicle inspection list and presented vehicle care instructions.

The vehicle a 1997 Nissan Sentra is a used car with high mileage and in poor conditions. The customer signed a vehicle inspection list confirming that his vehicle was in poor conditions. The tint had water spots and the damage was caused by old gasket & rolling down the window while it was still fresh. The customer tried to cover the damage by using a marker.

Moreover, this became heated when the customer’s father pointed his finger in my face so I asked them to leave. Shortly after the customer stated on video he would burn the shop down and demanded $2000.

Strong arm thuggery and filing fraudulent claims will not work here. If this would have been a legitimate case, the employee would have been terminated on site and a full refund would have been offered.
