North Side/South Side Dental Clinics Huston Kerr and Associates Replaced a bridge that left my gums bleeding which I was told I'd have to live with and adjusted my bite so low I could hardly open my mouth. Springfield, Missouri
In May, 2009, I had a three unit bridge replaced which was approximately twenty years old. It was suggested I replace it with a four unit bridge to which I agreed. When the first replacement bridge was seated it cracked and was left in for approximately six weeks until a new one could be made. The margins on it were incorrect. Therefore, it was extremely uncomfortable.
When the second bridge was seated, I was left with an adjacent gum area bleeding for several weeks. After returning to the north side clinic several times to address the bleeding, I finally refused to return after I was told I'd just have to live with it. So, I attempted to address the issue with another dentist within the same group at the south side clinic. Instead of removing the bridge, as I'd requested, my bite was adjusted. As a result of the adjustment, my bite was dropped so low I could barely open my mouth. When I returned to address the bite issue, I was told by the dentist there that he'd only done what I told him to do. In fact, it was what he suggested needed to be done.
I can't begin to say here how many dental problems this has since caused or expenses incurred as a result of such poor dental practices. Needless to say, I feel my dental health has been seriously compromised. I STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL GROUP.
