North Star Staffing Solutions NSSS, Danny Tran, Tabitha Tran Wasted 3 months of my life! Aurora Colorado
I worked at North Star Staffing Solutions for approximately 3 months in 2015 for Danny and Tabitha (Tabi)Tran. This company is shady at best. There is at least one other report on this website about the company. During the 3 months of employment, I was required to attend meetings unpaid (with threat of termination if I didn't attend meetings or have a valid reason for missing). These meetings occured as much as 3 times per week for an hour. I also had to turn in a daily report on all work completed. This was supposed to be a contract position with the understanding that it was a commission based position. During my time with the company, I never received any sort of pay. The company made numerous promises of new paid positions, that never materialized. Eventually they turned the company into a multi level marketing scam where you could recruit new Talent Acquisition Specialists to do the same job you were doing. How great right? I can go out and be part of the scam to get new employees working for the company and not get paid. NO thanks!
The positions advertised on North Star's website are recruited for by North Star as well as hundreds of other agencies nationwide, meaning a chance for placement by a North Star employee are slim to none. During the three months I worked for the company only 2 people made placements from the internal team, and only one that I know received a check (or at least stated she did) for her work. A number of 'outside' recruiters supposedly made placements but we had no contact with these people and I couldn't even tell you if they existed.
Long story short this company is getting recruiters to work for them, for no pay, having them recruit individuals for possible placement into jobs that they never get placed in, and putting all of those people's information into an online job board, so when the recruiter quits (as most of them do) the company keeps all of the information on all of the people the recruiters worked hours to build relationships with, all while making no money.
These people are scam artists, their company is a scam and if the other report I read on this company is 100% truthful, it sounds as if they are in some big trouble.
Don't make the same mistake I did, don't spend three months chasing a dream when you know in your gut it is a pipe dream. I could have made thousands of dollars in the time I wasted working for this company. Now, I have nothing but broken dreams and wasted time. Shame on North Star Staffing Solutions.

I worked at North Star Staffing Solutions when Rick Shadrick was hired. I worked alongside Rick Shadrick for a few months before I decided the 'kool-aid' was bad and left this sham of a company. Rick Shadrick was an honorable employee who Danny loved to praise repeatedly during his weekly meetings. In fact Rick spoke in NUMEROUS said meetings. I learned more from a couple of meetings with Rick speaking than I did in months from Danny Tran and maybe that's why NSSS is so pissed off.
I can tell you that at LEAST three people have filed the reports on this website alone. I could tell you fairly definitely who two of those people are (one of them was on my team). I can also tell you that no they are not all filed by Rick Shadrick, because well, I am not Rick Shadrick, I don't live in the same state he does, I am not even the same gender he is.
I started working for North Star in January and left in May because it was just all smoke and mirrors. I left right before they started charging to work for them, and right after they started having their recruiters, go out and recruit more recruiters for a portion of that recruiters commission (classic MLM scam).
While I was there they spoke of numerous new jobs they would be adding at hourly pay Dedicated Sourcers who would make between $15-$25 hourly, Dedicated Recruiters who would stay on commission, Sales/New Accounts who I would guess would also work on commission, Management Positions when the Director "moved up". It was and is all lies.
After all who would promote a "Manager" whose team is placing at best 5 positions a quarter, and sometimes less. That isn't stellar recruiting for sure.
I could go on and on and on about this bogus company. I won't though. I will say this though, go check out the SCORES of FORMER employees of North Star Staffing Solutions on LinkedIn. I'm sure they all left because it is such a stellar place to work. Right?

What the above person is attempting to sell you is that I am another former employee of the company who both started at a different time than I, and quit after I left. I am not this person and in fact am not even male. Nice try though Danny. I figured out pretty quickly you were of at best, average intelligence...I am not sure I would even say you are that any longer.
Perhaps rip off report isn't willing to work with you because, unlike you, they know and can verify these reports are coming from unique individual users. North Star Staffing Solutions and their "managing director, ceo, whatever he is calling himself this week" is nothing but a snake oil salesman. Keep lying about former employees, but here's a hint...there are FAR more of US and only 2 of you!

Danny Tran would compare himself to Jesus and Buddha in his delusional meetings. It was very rude to me as I am a Baptist Christian. Welp Danny Tran I have a few quotes for ya since you like to liken yourself to my Lord, and even Buddha, which is just wrong for Buddhists everywhere. First one:

Someone said somewhere that he is a Scientologist and I would have to believe that! His beliefs align more with Scientology from what I have sene, he is not like my Lord. Danny Tran also said that we should pretend our loves one have been kidnapped so that we could pay off their ransom! TO act like our loved ones are kidnapped so we could pay him a ransom.
This company stole money from my credit card ! I had 5 grand in unauthorized charges by this compani. I am retired vet and I have no clue what I will do now.

We resently disconnected with one of our staff members who turned out to be a part of a internet hate group and a scam artist. This person has attacked 3 other companies in this matter. This person has also impersonated a dectective, a police officer, a college advisor and is under investagations in their home town. We tried to report them but was told there was nothing the police department can do because he moved away from their jurisdiction.
None of the things stated in this report is correct. We tried to take it down but it will cost over $2,000.00 for this site to even look at the proof.
The same person / internet attack group is also mosting the same messages on indeed, glassdoor, and anywhere else they can find.
If you are curious about our alleged investagations, please call the department of concern. they will be able to tell you there are no investagations on our company or its owners.
