Northern Leasing Systems. This company conned my store employees to enter into a contract for credit card processing without informing that the contract would never expire. Even after the business closed and the contract nullified under Chapter 7 bankrupsy, they still are threatening my family with legal action. Even 4 years later they still send me threatening letters (thank god they dont know my phone #)

This company is a sham. They prey on the small business man by contracting independent contractors to sell their products with VERY vague wording within the contract. Then they harass them until they pay and pay and pay. ALSO, Dont beleive that paying your debt to this company will end the harassment, it wont! It is a commom tactic of this company to continue to bill/harass the customer even if the customer believes to have paid thier obligation.

Whatever you do... DONT DO BUSINESS WITH NORTHERN LEASING. Currently my lawyer is pursuing a harrassment suit against them but i dont have any hope of it actually stopping them. They are the epitome of the unscrupulous, dishonest, sleasy con artist.

Well i assume by your response that you either work for the company or you have foolishly entered into a contract with them, In any reguard, it sux to be you. I hope you didnt give them your bank information cause they will never stop drafting from your account, no matter if you have fulfilled your obligation or not. I fulfilled my contract and they continued to bill be. They will say that your contract is complete and, low-and behold, you will start seeing more drafts coming out of your account a couple of months later... I am sooo glad that I filed Chapt 7 because when they tried to get money for me 5 years later i called them and told them to go F**K off. They had nothing to say exept, sorry sir, we wont contact you again... I dont believe that to be true, but the same will happen then. I firmly believe I was the one who screwed up by not checking thier reputation before signing a contract but when a salesperson is saying that you are signing a 48 month contract, then you tend to believe it will be ONLY 48 Months... I was in business for 11 years and they harrassed me for 6 of those... I only filed because i was tired of working 80+ hours a week with no possibility in ever retireing... Now I have a 401k, insurance and security...Oh and im making 125k/yr and they cant touch a dime of it...LMAO!!

If the Sales people are receiving the big checks from Northern Leasing, then maybe they should go after the independant sales reps. for the dollars. Who is training these sleezy sales people (northern leasing) Give me a break!!!They don't show you all of the contract and fill in the blanks with extra numbers and make promises that absolutely no one all the way up the chain stands behind. Then you don't get a copy of the rest of the contract until months later. As an ex employee did you give your real name here. Every time I call them I get a different person and I ask for the person I talked to the time before and they can't be found or never heard of them. I think they make up names. That company does not have my sympathy. Rip off criminals. Any legitimate business owner would be out of business if we ran our company they way they do. Quite, frankly how do you sleep at night or is that why you are an ex-employee.

Everybody always wants to blame the company that does the collecting and never take responsibility for THEIR actions. First even if your company went bankrupt someone signed a personal guarantee with Northern. If that person was not you then you are NOT liable to pay anything. The sales organization that sold you the equipment cash a big check a few days after your equipment was delievered. Northern does not make one red cent untill you have paid 80%+ of your monthly payments. Think about how many business like yours can stay in business for 4 years. Northern is on the short end of the stick on alot of their agreements. If you were not given a fair deal then blame yourself- or maybe the salesman- but Northern is just trying to recoup the money they paid out.

I hate to say it but no wonder your business went under. What with "store employees" committing you to these types of long term contracts without your knowledge.
