Norton by Symantec corp anti-virus anti-virus racket Internet
Norton anti-virus. Very tricky internet purchase procedure. Through-out the process they keep throwing in numerous roadblocks, pop-ups,and requiring one to repeat the order if you do not want to be up-sold.A multiyear contract keeps appearing as you are making your purchase. Pop-up makes it difficult not to indicate "like" on F Book, twitter,rtc. After all of this smoke and mirrors, I can not down load the anti-virus.The tel # that they provide for assistance is "out of service". I finally was able to send a message for internet assistance(in India) but was informed by message that I was 96th in the queue .
They do not answer the E mails that I have sent to them indicating that I do not want the anti-virus.There is no way to talk to them. I notice that they were vere efficient however in processing my charge card the following day.
Sxxxxxxx is an outstanding anti virus security system that is manned promply 24/7 with bright American techs who do not attempt any tricky business.It has worked flawlessly for my desk top computer for 3 years. Stupidly, I had tried to re-new the norton anti-virus that came with a portable computer, but have returned to my senses .
