Norvergence Scam phone services, sold lease before going bankrupt sticking many with lease payments for unusable equipment Newark New Jersey
Norvergence claimed to provide "telecommunication solutions" saving 20-60 percent on our bills. This service included T1 internet, phones and cell phones - with no up front costs.
Norvergence split the payment and sold off an equipment lease to a third party leasing company just before going bankrupt. Leaving many customers with no service, or service soon to be cut off and lease payments equaling 2/3 of their total monthly bill that they are obligated to pay for 5 years (for equipment that is useless now).
The equipment they "provided" never did what they said it could and was financed at 10 times its value. The leasing companies took over the leases knowing the situation and are now acting as agents for other telecom companies trying to sell their services to us.
