Nuvie skincare, Reale Phone rep. Sent me a trial skin cream, but started to charge me $89 per month. Offer was misrepresented. Santa Ana, Ca 92704 (UPS store) Internet
I found an ad on Facebook offering trial cosmetics every month for $4.95 shipping.
I received 3 samples, small, when I realized that my credit card had been charged $89 for each sample after the first one. When I called the telephone # on my credit card statement, I was told I had signed up for a program that only one sample was free, and after that, unless I cancelled, my card would be charged. The phone rep. told me the address of the company when I asked, but it is actually a UPS store. I requested reimbursement immediately, but was refused, except for the most recent charge.
Upon investigating further, I found this website that reported similar scams, so reported this. I will be contacting my credit card to find out if they can do anything about this.
