Modesto Martinez is a thief who 5 years ago was operating scam under name Rentasy. Martinez was collecting advance fees, then sending the poor desperate souls to American Plaza, (Dominicanos) who don’t speak any English & they have hand out for more DINERO $$$$$.
The State caught Martinez defrauding room seekers and he got hammered BIG TIME. Guy's name is Modesto Esterlin Martinez, to report him, contact the NYS, Department of State @ 212-417-5790 or the NYS Attorney General @ 212-416-8000. Martinez is scamming now using the website name nycrentnow.com.
I was looking for a room recently, and when I got to the nycrentnow.com office @ 421 Seventh Avenue, Suite 1005, I discovered it was Martinez. Martinez and his female cohort (Jasmine) just collect an advance fee, then they just send the victim to American Plaza @ 3834 Broadway (uptown Manhattan), and this THIRD WORLD HUSTLER @ American Plaza wants another $150.00 up front fee too!
At the nycrentnow.com office, Martinez tried to get an advance fee from me and send me uptown to American Plaza; then it came back to me that it was the same con artist chiseler that was the subject of a Fox 5 News Report for ripping everyone Blacks & Hispanics for $150.00 advance fees and then just sending the victims to another agency that charges another advance fee. Steer clear of this Con Artist!

I am an employee for this company, This report here is filed from another competitor named John Mcdermott. He has an office in the Midtown Manhattan Area, and uses ripp off report to defame other business in an unffair and anti competitve way. Mr Mcdermott cant compete in a clean way.
This is the second time i respond to this fake report in this site by John Mcdermott.

We have been dealing with this man for many years and his anti competive malicious actions, He owns an office at: 56 east 41 Street 3rd floor New York NY 10017, John, has change his business name multiple times, and now is operationg under the name "Places to Live". He advertise in the New York Post and on Craigslist.
