OAN Services ripoff collect call charge to a DSL line Nationwide
On my Verizon bill, OAN Services charged me for a single charge for a collect call made to my DSL line - not even a voice line. Their listed number 800-926-0112 could not be used from area code. I found another number here on Ripoffreport.com, called it and was told by "Jessica" operator #147, that they would credit my bill - after I explained the call was charged to a DSL line, and not a voice line.
Importantly, I called Verizon, as another member had suggested. Verizon will block collect calls, and combined billing from "outside" companies for free (as they should). Hopefully this won't happen again.
Imagine how much money these thieves make - if people simply pay their bills without looking at the listed charges!
