Ocean Reef Electronics Auction Logistix LLC, I ordered 12 RCA Coaxial Cable Connectors (VH59X) (VH59X) [ASIN: B000092TSS] from Ocean Reef Electronics through Amazon. The cost was 29 cents each, for a total of $3.48. I received an eMail that the Nashville, Tennessee
I ordered 12 RCA Coaxial Cable Connectors (VH59X) (VH59X) [ASIN:
B000092TSS] from Ocean Reef Electronics through Amazon. The cost was 29
cents each, for a total of $3.48. I received an eMail that the
connectors were shipped - and the shipping charges were $47.88. Total
is OVER FIFTY BUCKS for a handful of connectors that can't possibly
weigh more than a few ounces. According to Ocean Reef Electronics site
on Amazon, General shipping rates 2.98 - $4.99 per item. I spoke with
the company and their attitude is basically, TUFF !!! YOU ORDERED IT -
YOU OWN IT. I am shocked that Amazon allows this kind of abuse on their
website. I always assumed that when I bought through Amazon that they
had vetted their vendors, and that buying was a safe on-line experience.
Shame on both Amazon and Ocean Reef Electronics.
