I was shocked to find this website with OCWEN complaints. I lost my home when OCWEN purchased the loan. I had fallen behind due to financial difficulties stemming from a divorce, etc. I made arrangements (if you could call it that)and at the time I was presented with papers demanding I vacate I was current. My attorney attempted to phone OCWEN and could get no response. I had reached someone who would ask my account number then leave me on hold - record was more than 3 hours before I hung up. It wasn't until a couple of years later that I came across the paperwork and have begun trying to piece it all together. So many people have told me that they have been much further in arrears than I ever was and have never lost their homes. I'm baffled as to why OCWEN moved so quickly to foreclose. The house sat empty for nearly 8 months before they sold. They also sent me a notice threatening me claiming I had failed to vacate as ordered, when in fact, I was out two weeks before they had specified. The whole thing was a shock, but becuase I was in the throes of other personal issues I had little fight in me. I turned to family for assistance and simply walked away from my beautiful home, dazed and confused. I stumbled on this website while trying to look for a contact person for OCWEN. I'll complete a chronology of events regarding my home loan with OCWEN and contact you when my facts and numbers are in order. I'm convinced I shouldn't have lost my home. I'm grateful to have found your website.
