Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Did somewhat visit the Ocwen.org site lately? That tricky one created to recieve feedback from us and "improve" Ocwen's services. It is not a very popular site. I visited today (I usually search for Ocwen's news and sites). To my surprise, I found out, after I typed www.ocwen.org that their site has been replaced with the FTC formal complaint. It was gratifying and I felt good. I check the place, and it was indeed, the FTC there, making itself present when you try to go to the site to locate Ocwen.

I did not file the complaint because I have already filed that FTC complaint against them ( In english and in Spanish, my relatives did it too). However, I don't understand how is that possible. Is it a good sign? I know that Ocwen is horrendous and would never expose itself (voluntarily) to the strict, straight and wonderful FTC. Does any of you have an explanation for this? Again, is it a good sign? Is FTC listening, at alast!

Oh, my God, to good to be true. Go there, go to www.ocwen.org and file your complaint. If you feel vulnerable doing it by using the "Ocwe.org" site you can go to FTC.gov and file the complaint there. They work by using the power of numbers. I am not too smart. If someone knows or understand how come this is happening, please, let the rest of us know. How can we type an address and end up at another one?

I LIVE IN THE STATE OF MISSOURI. SENTOR WIGGINS HAS TRIED TO SUBMIT BILL SEVERAL TIMES TO RESTRICT PREDATORS LIKE OCWEN. WE ALL NEED TO WRITE AND HOUND OUR STATE REPRESENTIVES. IT MIGHT EVEN BE A GOOD IDEA TO SEND THEM COPIES OF ARTICLES IN THIS WEBSITE.

ALBANO PRESSES BANK ON 'DRUG DEN'

I found this news article while I was searching the internet for other Ocwen related information. Just more evidence that they are: "Major Scumbags!" ALBANO PRESSES BANK ON 'DRUG DEN' SPRINGFIELD -- Mayor Michael J. Albano said he will ask the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking to demand that Ocwen Federal Bank of Florida appear before the committee and explain why it has allowed a property in Springfield to become blighted and drug-ridden. "This is a perfect example of urban decay and how it's killing a neighborhood, and how a bank is a part of it," Albano said yesterday of property at 36-44 High St. The banks hold a $175,000 mortgage on the property. There were more than 150 drug arrests at the property in 1998.

I KNOW A WOMAN THAT WORKS FOR ONE OF THE LAW FIRMS THAT OCWEN HAS USED IN THE PAST. SHE TELLS ME THAT THEY EVEN FORECLOSE ON PEOPLE WITH THEIR PAYMENTS ON TIME. THEY TRIED TO GET THE FIRM TO GO BEYOND THE LAW TO FORECLOSE ON VICTIM'S PROPERTY. THEY ARE JUST LOSERS. IN JANUARY THEY REFUSED TO PAY MY HOME OWNERS INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS PART OF THE PAYMENT THAT I SENT IN. I HAD TO PAY THE 1ST QUARTER SO I WOULD HAVE INSURANCE. I FAXED A NASTY LETTER ALONG WITH MY CONTRACT TO THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY. TWO DAYS LATER A FEDX SHOWED UP AT MY INSURANCE AGENTS OFFICE WITH A CHECK WITH THE FULL PAID. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND FROM AMERICAN FAMILY. I HAVE PAID ALL LATE FEES AND CAN PROVE IT WITH WESTERN UNIONS RECEIPTS AND THEY ARE DEMANDING IT AGAIN. THESE TYPE OF LENDING INSTITUTIONS LOVE A FIGHT. ITS TAX DEDUCTIBLE. LIKE I STATED BEFORE "LOSERS".

I am also a victim of Ocwens criminal behavior. Although I am in the construction business, I have experience in the computer business as well. Last August I registered the name ocwen.org for the following reasons. Two weeks earlier they had illegally sold my home (for the second time) and I thought that a group discussing the many and similar complaints by it's customers would help to get the word out about these thugs. So I created the site. It is a sub web of my main business web and my register allows its customers to adjust the DNS settings. So ocwen.org pointed to a sub web of my business site. I posted my intention on the ripoffreport and although there was some skepticism about who was behind it, it started getting posts. Naturally as I suspected, they were 100% NEGATIVE. - Can you imagine such a thing as a happy Ocwen customer.- HA. Well, within a week or two I got an overnight letter from Ocwen's chief corporate counsel demanding that I "cease and desist" I was amazed at their speed of response. Try getting a payment posted or a "pay off quote" and you will dangle in the wind. The site was registered by my girlfriend Lisa as she too wants to fight these immoral bastards. Next I got a formal notice from ICANN (organization that mediates domain name disputes) telling me that they had been notified by ocwen and was preparing a complaint. About a week later I got the complaint. It asserted that I was "diluting their name that they had spent money and years creating" when I stopped laughing I read the rest of the nonsense about the public being confused about who owns what. I talked with a few attorneys and got opinions for both sides. In the meantime I redirected the DNS to the FTC site. In my opinion the fact that customers want to join together in a way to fight a corrupt corporate entity is perfectly lawful. The site does not make any $$$ that would go to Ocwen if there were confusion. Our freedom of speech and lawful assembly rights give us the power to organize and fight. It is a common slogan to speak about disparagingly about shady "used car salesmen" but no honest American wants our banks to act in this way. Holding the power to deprive Americans of what has become the American Dream home ownership. Thats the last choice we want holding our mortgages. Crooked Bankers. Thomas Jefferson saw this and opposed the federalist Hamilton over how the Banks should be formed. Years later Andrew Jackson fought with what he perceived to be the elitist elements of society controlling the Banks. I redesigned the site and changed the DNS back to the new site making disclaimers about the fact that is not associated with the bank in any way other than a place where customers can share experiences. We will fight them at ICANN and insure our rights to be heard. Sure they are going to fight. There scam could go bust. Then Mr. E and all his buddies will have to find new employment and stop stealing peoples equity to furnish his needs to feel complete. However, others have suggested plans are in the works for him to vacation where they supply three meals a day, bedding, and strong bars to keep out the riff raff. Who knows? When enough people are willing to stand up and be counted Ocwen will fail for the illegal, immoral, racket that it is. There is also a chat page on the site to allow people to talk directly with one another ( the pop ups are because the chat software is free and once you close the one parachat window it does not pop up again. I would encourage people to talk to one another and share information strategies, attorneys that are good, attorneys who are not good, agencies that take interest and those who do not. Unite together for this worthwhile fight for justice. This is what the promise of the internet has always been. Unite together for this worthwhile fight for justice. This is what the promise of the internet has always been. Bill Gates said it first when he made the companies slogan 15 years ago Information at your fingertips. The following is a quote from the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy regarding change ************************* "Some believe there is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world's ills. Yet many of the world's great movements, of thought and action, have flowed from the work of a single man. A young monk began the Protestant reformation, a young general extended an empire from Macedonia to the borders of the earth, and a young woman reclaimed the territory of France. It was a young Italian explorer who discovered the New World, and the thirty-two-year-old Thomas Jefferson who proclaimed that all men are created equal. "These men moved the world, and so can we all. Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation. It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. "Few are willing to brave the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. And I believe that in this generation those with the courage to enter the moral conflict will find themselves with companions in every corner of the globe. *********************** The proceeding facts about ocwen.org is 100% accurate and honest Call me at home / office if you are paranoid or doubtful about this post. What is up with the Ocwen.org site??? DO NOT TRUST IT!

#6Consumer Suggestion

I too tried to go to the site of ocwen.org. My security alert showed up and said not to trust this website. It goes to plesk.com whoever that is. Has anyone else had trouble accessing this site? I wouldn't trust going to it. Little do we know it could be a site like Gator and spy on your computer to see what you are doing.

Jon, FTC takes care of credit reporting complaints.

#7Consumer Suggestion

Jon, you made an importan point. It is true, but if you complaint about Ocwen's wrong or incomplete reporting. If you tell them the things they do with ACTS like CRA, FCRA, etc., they will consider it their jurisdiction. They also take care of complaints related to violations of TILA , RESPA, etc. I know that as a fact because I did my reporting sometime ago and they sent me a WONDERFUL letter that I took seriously because its content. Remember that they started the movement against CITI's mortgage division and ordered them to compensate their borrowers. They have authority to start judicial issues and are very aggresive. All of us should go there and complaint keeping in mind their motivations. Also, notice that goverment departments always refer you to other departments (they treat each other with courtesy. Part of the protocole, I think)

You may want to ignor my comments from the above statement. I just got a reply from the FTC regarding the complaint I filed. Here's what it said: The Federal Trade Commission does not have jurisdiction over banks or credit cards that are issued by banks. You should decide what kind of bank you were dealing with and file your complaint with the appropriate bank regulatory agency: The usual BS... "Not in our jurisdiction, Take your complaint elsewhere". Which, may explain the "redirection" or misdirection. What else would you expect from the Ocwen scumbags.

I filed a complaint with the FTC by going directly to their web site. You should all do the same, as It will give us all a lot more credibility. It's very obvious to me now... that just being a customer of Ocwen labels you as a deadbeat, no matter how you were unfortunate enough to become an Ocwen victim, oops I mean customer.

I also checked out this web page (Ocwen.org). It does redirect you and I copied the address of the page for filing a complaint with the FTC. I then went to FTC.gov and clicked on their link to file a complaint online. It is the same exact address as the page you get redirected to from Ocwen.org! Can we dare to hope that the FTC is close on the heels of this hound from hell? Keep your fingers crossed...I am!

I looked up the site address you stated: www.ocwen.org, and yes, you are correct. It DOES take you to the FTC site. However, when you type: www.ocwen.com, it will take you to Ocwen's official site. I did not submit my info. to the ".org" address as when I discovered the discrepency it sent a "red light" off in my head. Don't trust the snakes! Any thoughts as to why there are 2 different URL's for Ocwen????

I too went to the site mentioned and yes it did redirect me to the FTC site. I did file a complaint. I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt me..I hope it's not a site that Ocwen is having redirected to them so they can get the names of the persons who are filing complaints against them for recourse action...But you know, that could work in our favor... If you haven't filed a complaint, do so, this will help all of us and should help Mr. Hanson to with the ongoing lawsuit...
