Ocwen Federal Bank OCWEN STEALS HOMES FROM HONEST, HARD-WORKING PEOPLE IN CENTRAL TEXAS Orlando Florida
I don't even know where to begin to describe my total disgust with Ocwen. I should have known something was terribly wrong when MY name is included on the mortgage loan, but the first time I contacted Ocwen with a question, they said THEY COULD NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT THE LOAN. My husband THEN had to call and "authorize" them to communicate with ME!
To make a long story short, we fell about a month behind on our loan last summer, and I called to get on a payment plan to catch up. They told me repeatedly "we don't do that." Ocwen reps who do not even speak English, told me that I could NOT send partial payments...that only complete payments can be posted to the account. This went on for a year and finally, on the verge of forclosure (still only ONE month behind), Ocwen offers us a "deal" called a "forbearance plan." Basically, I am now paying $200 more EVERY month for 6 months, STILL incurring late fees and trumped-up expenses (i.e., "inspection expense" and "valuation expense"), and a total of $32.02 is applied to our principle each month! THIS IS ROBBERY and Ocwen should be held ACCOUNTABLE!
