Ocwen Federal Bank never posing payments timely causing extra fees and even adding tremendous lawyer fees Orlando Florida
OCWEN IS A COLD HEARTED RIPOFF. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE NO BETTER THAN THE MANAGEMENT WHEN THEY KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON. My husband and I mortgaged our home with Ameriquest who then sold the mortgage to Ocwen Federal Bank. This was the worst nightmare ever in my life. I was a couple of notes behind and had contacted them to try to figure out payments and they said "no problem" they would work with me then all of a sudden I am being served with forbearance papers in which there were additional fees of over $4000 for lawyer cost. My note was only $643. I finally put down $6571.00 to bring everything up to date and the very next month I get a bill saying I still owed over $2000 because the money I sent was applied wrong and their was nothing they could do to straighten it out. I was sick of getting letters fro Moss Codil I had them send me papers explaining all of the crap and they did not even know how to explain it to me.
Well later when they were continually telling me I still had not paid the arrears I get a notice sent that they are putting my home up for auction. I had to send another 1800.00 to keep it from being sold and then set up a forbearance plan for $880.00 for one year and they are telling me at the end of one year I will still have a large balance to either apply on top of my monthly fee or pay the lump sum. How the hell do I get away from Ocwen. They have royally screwed my family. They refused to send me a bill statement all of last year because we had to file bankruptcy. I explained to them that the bankruptcy did not involve our home or Ocwen and in order to make my payments I needed a monthly statement which they refused to give me.
