I am all for a class action suit. We are going through h-e-l-l right now with these jerks. We do have a lawyer involved, I have emailed/written the Iowa Attorney General, and still nothing has been accomplished. I have given permission for my information to be released. I agree, let's all get together and get a class action suit filed against OCWEN and get rid of this rip-off joint once and for all before others have to suffer the mental anguish, pain, emotion, and financial burden that OCWEN has put a whole lot of us through!! I made an erlier posting about Ocwen, reflecting the exact issues facing all of you now. I haven't received statements from Ocwen in over 2 years. I made payments and guessed that those were my monthly payments they expected. From a previous response I read here earlier from an individual from Orlando, Florida, , I suppose that asking for a billing statement from Ocwen is a privilege and not our right... How ludicrous! At any rate, I went from a HUD forebearance to ending up with this despicable bank back in 1997. From the start, and like many of you, I was charged with countless late fees, "corporate advances" ( whatever that is) and other miscellaneous "charges" that no one but Ocwen can explain (or justify). I own a 2 bedroom townhouse with an approximate value of 70,000.00 Last year, this "bank" sent me a letter detailing my charges. In short, In order for me to keep my home, I must pay 128,000.00 according to their book keeping accounts. This of course, includes the proverbial late fees, attorney fees,(thug fees) etc etc etc.... If that's not outrageous I don't know what is. I have written politicians, OTS (twice) Ocwen NUMEROUS TIMES and after this long battle of 3 years, everyone is turning a deaf ear..... My last letter to Ocwen (approx. 3 weeks ago) really ticked them off. Their gracious response to me was in form of a certified, legal letter indicating that they are going to proceed with foreclosure on or about March 13th anyway. Needless to say, I don't have much time left but I will be visiting this site regularly. Whereas it appears that these parasites may be "winning" at the moment, I can assure you that whether I am still living in my home or not, I will continue to fight them on this until they are no longer in business of any way, shape or form and until they can be stop from hurting anymore hard working people in this country. I also am a Victom my report is titled Forclosure Nightmare with Ocwen. Because of them no posting my payments on time I am on my 3rd Forberance agreement with them. Being a first time home buyer and not understanding everything about a forberance agreement, I thought they must be right. After the 3rd time now I have finally awaken and I am about to lose my house. On my last 2 arangements with them I was told a certain amount of monthly payment and no monthly statement before my payment was due, so I sent the amount in that my signed paperwork stated. Then to my knowledge was told that the amount was different. So needless to say that put me in breach of my contract. I then was offered another agreement the same thing only this time instead of being a 30 dollar difference it was over 500 dollars a month and was told it was due to dilinquent taxes and insurance that they paid for me. Well I thought that an escrow account was added to your monthly statement. Now that my credit is so bad because of this I neither can refinance or bring my account upto date because they are telling me I owe thousands of dollars and I cant get anyone to return my calls or give me proof of what I owe. Its been over 3 weeks now and I have only days before I lose my home. The last time I spoke to someone there my payoff was more then what I originally paid for the home and the amount to bring it back up to date was over 18000 dollars. When according to my monthly statement my payoff amount is less then 55000, and my delinquint amount is 12000 or less. I would love to hear any suggestions you have to offer me. Please post them here at the Rip-off Report so everyone else can take advantage of your infomation. Thank you and good luck
