Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

In March 2010 a representative by the name of Jenny called my office, she said she had spoken to our CFO- Michael Turner about buying office supply, and that he made an order with her and needed me to go over quantities. She had told us that she has an office supply business in Allentown, PA and that she is moving to Florida and has to get rid of her stock.

I placed an order for different items, in the sum of about $500. Few weeks later 7 boxes were shipped to our office, containing items I never ordered and triple the quantity of the items I did order. I contacted South Bay Office Products; there is never an answer at their office, so I left a message asking them to call me back between 8 AM- 4 PM. They contacted me after hours and left a message to keep the items I didnt want for free, since it cost them more to ship it back to Florida.

Few weeks went by and I received an invoice from South Bay for $5614.05.  I called them again, there was no answer, left a message and asked them to call me back by 4 pm. I also sent them the a letter by mail.

Again, they called back after hours and left a message that there was a mistake, and I was over charged and they will send new invoice.

A new invoice came in and it is for $2730.60. Still $2000 more then we ordered. I contacted them again, and left a message that I would like to return all the items. Once again they called after hours and left a message that they have a No Return policy. I searched for their website online, and to my big surprise found many Fraud reports, on consumer websites, it turns out they pull the same trick with all of their clients.

Hi.  I read your dilemma and of course I have been a victim to South Bay Office Products and I ordered a small order in February and received all sorts of stuff.  I still to this day have not received an invoice but I grew suspicious after I received a ton of stuff I started to look them up online to and found the complaints. They tried to tell me to keep the stuff I didnt order to but I was upset and told them I refused to keep anything and I demanded to mail me UPS return labels and to my surprise, I received these last week and I also requested to have them fax me their W9 tax form and of course I have not received that.  They always do their business after hours to avoid speaking to you I imagine.  I originally placed my order with Alex, then trying to fix all the errors, I have had messages from Nancy, Jenny and Bee. I am afraid to send it bak and have it go to an invalid address and then they come back and say I never returned it and try to hold me responsible for paying.  It's one of those situations where I am wondering if I can win.
