Official auto sales, Chris Manson "repaired" my car mirror with a cutout piece of plastic, overcharged repairs and tried to pocket the cash, said the car needed nothing but has needs lots of work. Plaistow New Hampshire
Here is my story of how Official auto sales and their "finance manager" Chris Manson scammed me:
I bought a bmw 323i from them that according to their craigslist ad "needed nothing." when i get there i notice that the right side mirror has no glass but nonetheless i am told how great a car it is, how clean it is, and how great it runs. so i make a deal with chris. He says that it will be "no problem at all" to fix the mirror. and that the car will be garunteed to pass inspection. i just have to pay the inspection fee which he says is $45 and 50% of the cost of the parts the car may need to pass inspection.
It winds up needing new front brakes. So Chris calls me up and says i can come pick up the car since it has now passed inspection, and quotes me $100 for the brakes and inspection. when i go to pick up the car however i see that they have "repaired" my mirror with a piece of plastic that has been cut with scissors! it is so warped you cant see any car beside you. also he had charged me $100 for the inspection plus brakes, but when i look at the reciept, the inspection was only $30 and the brakes were $25. he pocketed the difference! i saw him put the $100 in his pocket, it was never gonna go to the business. and when i ask for my money back, this "finance manager" chris manson says he is unable to write a check, and does not have any spare change to break my $100 bill. He was totally unapologetic and did not care, he couldnt wait to wipe his hands clean with that car and get rid of it.
When i brought the car home more problems started, the worst of which being the passenger and rear doors will not open due to some electric failure. also the driver side mirror does not adjust, the driver side rear window does not go up or down, there was a leak near the interior brake light, and anti-freeze leakage.
These people are the textbook definition of a sleazy car dealer. they never told me these problems and lied about them. They did not treat me fairly and had zero remorse. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
