Oliver's Hair Replacement I would not recommend this place to anyone. Dallas, Texas
I would definitely not recommend Olivers Hair Replacement in Dallas Texas. I went there and ordered a hairpiece. I found out that this is a family run business and his son and daughter and probably other relatives all work there. This is not a good thing. When the unit came in, Oliver had his son cut and style the unit. I sat there in the stylist chair and had to listen to his son complain the whole time. All he did was vent his frustrations over getting some type of traffic ticket. The more he talked about it, the angrier he became. I finally told him to just stop as he was really getting himself worked up and I realized he was becoming so angry, he was not focusing on my hair unit.
I left the place and later called Oliver and told him about my experience. Since this was his son I was complaining about, he naturally defended him. Had it been a non-related employee, I think his reaction would have been different. Anyway, I went back in and his daughter finished the job; however, his son had butchered the unit so bad that it could really not be fixed.
To this day, my unit sits unworn in a box on my shelf. I ended up going to another place and bought another unit and it looks a whole lot better than what I ended up with at Olivers. Even before he let his son butcher my unit, the part on the side and the crown did not look natural at all. That was an expensive lesson; to the tune of about $1,000.
I should have trusted my instincts when I first walked in. The place looks real cheesy. The furniture in the waiting area looks like it came from Goodwill and the whole place is really run-down with paint peeling off the walls, etc.

I have had my hair done at Oliver's for 14 years. I go on a monthly basis. My hair started breaking off dramatically in my 30's..They rescued my confidence by helping me with extensions. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Oliver's. They have all been very professional and wonderful to work with. I will continue my business relationship with them for years to come!

I had filed the original complaint againts Oliver's but the issue has been resolved and I would highly recommend Oliver's Hair Replacement to anyone that is needing to purchase a hairpiece. My original complaint was written at a time when I was angry and I retract the complaint. Rip-off Report does not allow a consumer to delete their complaint or I would have done that.

Do a search on Google for Oliver's Hair Replacements and you'll discover that this person has filed the same complaint under multiple names, such as "Outdoorguy" and "kwallace33". If you check out the other reviews posted by "Kwallace33" you'll see that they're ALL negative. Yep, not one positive review. Since this person can't seem to say anything nice about anyone, I will:
Oliver's has been in business for over forty years, and I don't think they would have been around this long if they sold shoddy products and treated people badly. I've been one of their customers for many years, and I've always found them to be very professional and friendly. And by the way, I was at their shop recently and I didn't see any "Goodwill" furniture or peeling paint!
