I apologize for the problem that was encountered with the delivery of your order. At Omaha Steaks we guarantee that the product will arrive in good condition on the scheduled day of delivery. UPS and FedEx are our carriers and they can deliver to residential addresses up until 8pm depending on the volume for their route. We do recommend putting the products into a freezer upon arrival. We do offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and we should have cheerfully replaced or refunded your order whichever you preferred.
I am not sure why you were contacted back after choosing a replacement to be told that there would be no guarantee on the delivery. We would absolutely guarantee the second delivery for you. Had the package arrived damaged, late, with the product thawed, etc... we would have reimbursed you for this.
