In reference to 2 items in your rebuttal. Secret Shoppers and Mystery Shoppers are the same thing. Nitpicking about the name does not mean anything. It just shows how you are hiding a scam. I have 25 years in the telecommunications field specifically in the PBX/CBX for businesses. Mystery Shopping is something I do in my spare time (PBX=Private Branch Exchanges/CBX=Computerized Branch Exchanges are phone switches used exclusively in business offices for those unfamiliar with the acronyms) Your so-called recordings that confirm someone agreed to all your unauthorized charges is nothing but BS. Those Call Detail Recordings are edited by your System Administrator to say exactly what you want it to say. You just move a yes answer from a previous question to where ever you want it in the conversation. They will not hold up in court which will order a forensic analysis of the recording and determine they have been edited.

I am registered secret shopper and I have to apply for and be hired for each assignment. I use a LEGITIMATE shopping service - there are far more bogus secret shopping companies then there are legitimate ones. I paid a 1 time enrollment fee 6 years ago and they have never charged me again. I have complete access to training materials on how to apply for jobs, write reports etc. Yes you sometimes have to purchase something at the store you are secret shopping at - but the store who hires you provides money to pay for what ever it is you buy. And pays you as well. Includes restaurants. Sometimes they specify what to purchase other times they give the cash to make any purchase you like - you keep what you buy. If these companies are requiring that you pay for items out of your own pocket or pay for additional job leads- its a SCAM.

As an employee of OCI, allow me to clear up confusions re: the "Secret Shopper" opportunity offered with our company. The specific references offered by this complainant in particular offers a valuable insight for all future like-kind complainers. First of all, our company advertises "Secret Shopper" opportunities which are in no way affiliated with other companies who use the name "Mystery Shopper". As you see, the confusion begins for this individual even in paragraph 1 of their complaint. Paragraph 2 for the most part seems factual as we do in fact offer bonuses for each caller's review and consideration...which must be accepted/acknowledged "on tape" by each caller or otherwise we do not relay the accepted bonus offer to the outside provider for their charge to the customer. We are NOT the employer and clearly outline our referral role to each customer when asked...that clarification is indeed an addendum to our script and everything we state can readily be substantiated "on tape" and any/all disgruntled customers could simply complain to their credit card company. But sadly, it is much easier to complain and be found wrong and confused than to stand up to their own recorded acknowledgements and/or order acceptance. IDIOTS!!!
