ON STAR On star upgraded my system but they changed my car phone number without me knowing! Troy Michigan
what ONSTAR is not telling you!
When I upgraded my Suburban's OnStar from analog to digital the dealer and the OnStar people didn't tell me that they would change my car phone number! I was driving for several days without knowing that Onstar made a change and without knowing my new number! Once I contacted the Onstar customer service they were rude and refused to help!(they are usually very professional and helpful) I asked to have my number back since I had used it for work,on my stationary, business cards and yellow pages yet, they tried to tell me that the new number came with the hardware!
What a rubbish! Every time I changed my cell phone I should have gotten new number if their logic was correct! I am so mad, I might cancel the service, sell the Suburban and buy a German vehicle instead! Shame on you OnStar! Shame on you GM!
Wait!...Finally, a very nice, professional manager got on the phone and was able to restore my old number. It took him all three minutes to fix it! Ask for Waseem! He restored my believe in the ONSTAR!
