Wow...OTM is the biggest Rip Off ever. I fell for it sadly, but now that I got all of my $1300 back, I'm better than ever.
I was approached by some random lady about "how beautiful i am" and "how i need to come to OTM's scout meeting this week". Stupid me fell for it and went.
I get there and listen to a story full of bull. They said that their "models" need a very expensive portfolio, composition cards, and slides from a very expensive photo shoot you must go through. Not to mention extra money just to join.
So altogether I pay $1300 for everything. I wasn't hearing anything about my pictures coming in from the photo shoot. Week after week after week, nothing was said to me. Finally i get a call after harassing them, my pictures for my portfolio came in.
I go up to see my pictures and the quality was horrible. I couldn't believe that i had spend about $500 on pictures that looked like i took them myself in my own backyard. They apologized and said they'd immediately redo the shoot at no cost to me.
When did i hear about that? Never. They never gave me another photo shoot. They just let me keep the pictures that looked horrible. Not to mention the slides. I got to keep them as well, and the comp cards too...that i will never use.
Thank God I got my money back. They said they'd never had any report filed on them on the Better Business Bureau...that was a lie, or people were too stupid to report their rip off. Not me, I'm lucky I got my money back. Don't fall for something so stupid. I got nothing out of the whole experience. No jobs, no satisfaction, no nothing.
