onlineauction.com ola.com Suspended for life for being harassed by other members? Internet
I joined ola and was a member for 4 months starting dec 2012 to april 2013. I was in chat trying to sell my items and I kept getting comments from 1 seller trying to tell me I was this other member. I called her out and told her she was rude to think I was someone else. After several months, in Feb 2013, I posted in my own post I had created in the first place to sell, I announced I would no longer use the chats and left it at that. I didn't want to spend my time defending who I am instead of focusing on selling.
I continued to list, but then stopped and went elsewhere. After about a week of no activity, I went back to check my account only to be found by the Internet End page that I was suspended. I called OLA to ask them what was going on. I was met with a very rude Frank. He asked my name, I told him, his words were "We saw what you did in chat you're suspended forever and cannot come back on the site." Which ended in him hanging up on me. Great customer service right?
I've seen the reviews from other sellers, and you know what, I did not have a great experience. I'm out $8 for the month of April 2013 and in the 4-5 months I've been a monthly member, I didn't have a single sale! Because of the lack of sales I'm out $45!
I was recommended to this site by a close friend and now he feels bad for even recommending me. By the way, he hasn't been on the site in about a year now because he closed out his business and he checked his account and he too is suspended. I suggest to anyone don't sign up for this company, other sites are better.
