Come Monday, there will be a small claims filed for this. Friday, February 12th early am, I had brought in several parcels and went to check on a what is called a catch and release feral cat that has been sick, and in the process of catching again to get it proper vetinary help in which it will be released again.

I'm going to have to leave a big portion out, only because I have my local police dept involved and as this will be a court matter as well, do not want to give the aboved named company any important information.

What basically happened, the above carrier Ontrac instead of delieverying the package to the door, decided to throw it. Wether on purpose or accident, the result ended with a large planter shattering and dropping sharp pieces down and over the steps below onto my daughters cat who is an indoor cat, but snuck outside for a few moments. One of the pieces almost completely sheared through its rear paw, pictures will follow.

Hearing the crash, I thought it was a window and saw the delievery guy running opiset down the path. It was when I looked by the doorway and saw the mess, and the blood that the first thought was one of my children got injured. As I ran to the door, I saw my daughters cat limping, losing a lot of blood and what looked like gore from a horror movie. I called a cab immidiately, then my vet who got me in immidiately, grabbed the cat and tried to keep pressure on its paw without getting torn up myself. My vet took her in, and immidiately went to work on her. She had to have muscle and tendon reattached then sewn closed. My daugher spent a day and a half in tears thinking she was going to lose her pet. Amazingly, the cost was a fraction of what it would have been if a human had gotten the same injury. With the emergency past, I contact Ontrac first via email, then phone. They are in fact 100% responsable for what happened. Do you think they would take responsability? Nope. I get an email I contacted the wrong company. Checking the saved link, I call the number on the same webpage and try out the tracking number. Sure enough, it worked. I in fact had the correct info, and the company knew it as well. Try calling the, the moment someone answered, Id be hung up on. They were screening the calls. Tried blocking my number and sure enough, got a person who didnt hang up on me till they got my info. This costly pet surgery ended the chance of my kids going to disney land this year, The important thing, even though my daughters cat isnt human, she is an important part of our family and is doing quite well. This could have been much worse, especially since my kids play in that area all the time and happened to be in that same spot only 20 minutes earlyer to the incident.

Tampering with shipment

Newegg put a block on further shipments from Ontrac, but not before accidentally shipping a computer case with Ontrac. Luckily the case that was shipped was for me, and not one of the many components my daughtered needed to build her PC. Now for the update. The case was left at the front steps of my home with the very notacable problems. The box was retaped, obviously by Ontrac as the tape did not bear Neweggs name for one, the other issue was the box was soaked through at the bottom of the box. I contacted Newegg to pick the case up and put it aside for whatever Newegg decided to do with it. I at first assumed maybe the carrier used the shipment to eat off of and got careless dropping his drink, or just poured one in the box. It wasn't rain, hadent rained in a while and we don't have automatic sprinklers, so that was ruled out too. It wasn't till the next day that my entire family including myself realized what it actually was. It's a smell I havent been subjected to in almost 9 years. A smell most parents experience from a diaper pail that no amount of cleaning or liners can stop or mask. It was the smell of stale urine. Every year we read or hear about people getting arrested just for getting caugyht on video doing thge deed. Obviously the carrier took steps to avoid securitry footage, but who needs video, when DNA testing is just as cheap. I'm just greatful he doesn't deliever pizzas for a living. At least I hope he doesn't!
