Onyx is part of Capitol One Auto Finance, there customer service leaves much to be desired. Seems to me they are definately outsourced! They told me that I could call them back to pay the late charge for free. And I also noticed that the late charge is never the same, explanation..... it depends on your payment, 1/2 your payment goes to principle and the rest to interest. Somehow they have managed to lose a payment of ours and although we are up to date now, they still have us as being late. I would never recommend them for anything. They are not willing to work with their customers and as I stated before their customer service is by far the worse I have encountered. Rude and nasty individuals. They talk over you when you are trying to explain something and they call every hour on the hour, never leave a message either. So although this rebuttal may come late... I know exactly how you feel.
