Be Ware !!
There is an ad posted on oodle market place for a 1998 jeep wrangler. The car is suppose to be located in stamford ct. I contacted the seller and he identifies himself as USAF SSgt Thomas Woods. He further states that the vehicle is in his posession at the base Elemdorf Alaska. His terms are to deposite $ 2,000.00 in a third party attorney account such as ebay. He the guarentees delivery of the vehicle via Airforce cargo plane to the states then transported to my door.Further more he is offering a 5 day inspection window to accept or reject the vehicle at which time money would be released fro third party. He offers very nice pictures of the vehicle in photobucket.
I contacted Elemdorf Air Force base to verify his credentials. And as you guessed he does not exist. I sent the emails to public affairs in Elemdorf for them to review as there is a number of false transactions their and all over the US POSING AS us Military.
Just a heads up its not only Craigs list....It seems to be everywhere
