The only way to reach the company is the email address which is the customer support - [email protected] I had wrote the other day asking why I was charged still for a returned modem. I got an email back less than an hour asking for the tracking number and company I sent it by. I gave them the info but never heard back. After 2 days of no reply, I had to email them again and threaten to take all action I can if they do not give my money back. After threatening to report to the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau, I received an email back in less than 10 mins all of a sudden saying that as of today, my refund is being processed!!! Isn't that a coincidence? Email them and hopefully this will help any of you out.

I too like all the the rest have been rippedoff altough its more like stolen from. The service never worked from the day I started service. I finally terminated service in March of 2011 and found out yesterday the debited my account $250. This is a outrage! There is noway to contact the company because aparently they are no longer in business. I have disputed the chare with my bank and they are trying to do what they can, I am not the only one I have spoken with several of my neighbors and the same thing has happened to them. How can a company that is no longer doing business take our money or better yet where is it going? I believe a classaction suite is needed.

I experienced waking up one morning to my internet not working when I woke up one morning. tried contacting open range customer service only to hear that they are out of business. Called numbers for customer care in different states only to notice every line was disconnected. I also was told that they were NOT going out of business after I spoke with somebody. Received an email few days later asking me to return modem at MY OWN EXPENSE before a certain date or I would be charged. I contacted the email address I got letter from which was customer service only to have it be sent back to me saying address not valid. We all should not have had to pay to return a modem that they sent us and cancelled service on. Today, I checked my bank account and saw a charge for $120 from open range and went into a rage after seeing it. I sent the modem back by UPS before the date they asked just in case they did try charge (which they did anyway & stole money out account) ... They still have that same 800 number which is disconnected and I am contacting my credit union first thing come Monday morning and filing a report about this & I also have proof from UPS that I sent it back to the address that was in the email I received from open range. This company was ALWAYS terrible & NEVER delivered its speeds as "guaranteed" anyway. I called in multiple time in a month every month I swear only to be credited for service which should have been free anyway. Keep a check on your bank statements because open range are now charging people as of this weekend I see even though modem has been sent back. I too, am looking for some sort of class action lawsuit against this company because they are robbing people.

I also called about them going out of business. I was told that another company was picking up the business in my area. Then, on 11/18/11, my internet service and phone went out. I called them on my cell phone and got a message that they were out of business.
I have since received notice that they want their modem shipped back to them. I am keeping the modem until they either send me a shipping label or give me an account number to charge it to.
I am giving them until 12/12/11 to do this. After that I am charging $25 per day storage fee until 12/18/11. If they have not complied by 12/18/11, I will destroy their modem and they still owe me for storage.
I also refuted the charges with my CC company because they did not hold up their agreement.
Looks like they also shafted their own employees. What a shame. It was pretty good service when they were up and running.
